You've got spyware/adware on your computer. It's reading the MadJacks page when you load it, and then giving you popups relevant to the subject matter here. I use AdAware, Microsoft Antispyware, and Spybot Search&Destroy. Load those three programs and run them all (and schedule them for regular spyware scans at off-hours) and you should be free of it all.

I get 'em all the time too, Schouest, but it was likely from something else that one of my kids chose to download to my puter....LOL Never used to get them, but then all of a sudden after they were using my laptop while theirs were in the shop i get them all the time. here/cnn/wunderground/banking/credit card sites are the main ones that bring me pop-ups on every visit.

By the way, which popup blocker did you install? Some of these blockers are spyware in themselves. I never install anything like additional toolbars....especially something like Hotbar. It's known spyware and could be the problem. Things like Hotbar can also be notoriously difficult to fully remove from your system.

Those three I mentioned above are all clean and trustworthy - and free!

It's a yahoo blocker....but it doesnt seem to block CRAP...

I keep getting Party Poker, Sportinteraction, and various other books pop up here...

I'll try and find some spyware software...any ideas ???

I have an Ad-Aware SE that I run, it always seems to pick up stuff..but I guess that aint the answer !

Go to tucows dot com and search for those 3 popup blockers mentioned above. Run 'em regularly. AdAware alone doesn't catch everything. I have three blockers...each one runs two mornings a week, so almost every morning I've had a scan of some sort done.
