It works both ways buddy. Name one team ND has beat that has an defense ranking as high as OSU

Syracuse has #22 pass defense in ncaa
OSU has #36

do you remember what happened? I think its safe to say ND is a passing offense..... :shade:

maybe that stat will shut you up

I agree with you though. It SHOULD mean something, but it doesnt. You are right, the MSU that beat ND and planted that poison flag at the 50 was not the same team that bowed down in the 2nd half and quit.

Read that ThomasDayton, does that seem like arguing? More like an intelligent debate between 2 people who know their CHITE

Thats a pointless stat pulled from your ass. You brought up Syracuse are you ****ing serious!

A one dimensional offense won't beat us either. You gotta play some balanced football. You just compared Syracuse to OSU. They're 1-10, thanks for the laugh. I am sure I could go over NDs stats and find something unfavorable as welll. But Syracuse come on.

and the games where OSU's offense clicked??? Northwestern and Illinois, ranked 117, and 115 respectfully, or not so respectfully, however you see it

And I'm sure OSU's 19-12 GIVEAWAY to TAKEAWAY ratio will help them out too.

OSU -7 in the turnover ratio column
ND +8 22 takeaways, only 14 giveaways

Ahh, the stuff that matters MORE than the rankings

your stat is a joke, just like your defense. Done with this subject for now and we'll have a post-game thread, and I'm glad it all gets settled on field.
Syracuse lol(again)-needed a good laugh
have a good one Derek

Well lets look at the numbers
OSU offense score 32.5 ppg ND offense scores 38.2 ppg
OSU defense 14.8 ppg ND defense 23.6
Better hope this game doesn't stay in the averages for ND only a 5.7 offensive ppg advantage. While defensively OSU has 8.8 ppg margin. Giving OSU value of 3.1 all within averages of numbers of course. You and your rankings are a joke, go suck some Irish cock, fagot!

I'm in law school. People like me are going to be out witting you YOUR WHOLE LIFE, so get used to it pal.

Who has been saying its a "field goal" game since the spread came out??

Thanks for proving my point.

The last part just shows your uneducation, and sense of defeat. Always a dead giveaway that you have proved your point when you get called a faggot. I'm sorry. Maybe you should go to the local kindergarden and find someone closer to your intelligence level to argue with, because i OWN YA A$$

I don't know are you? You own nothing dipshit, so then like I said before which is my whole point the game will be won and loss between OSU offense ND defense. The arguement I made is ND does not have a good defense and team the gives up 21+ppg is not a good a defense. You say ND offense is so good but it only averages 5.7 ppg better than OSU. Look we can go back and forth on this but face it we'll never agree when comes to this issue. By the way arguement will be won by how the game plays out.

The way you talk about NDs offense you think ppg difference between OSU and ND would be a lot higher where there is a significant difference is on the defensive side of the ball between the two teams. "I own YA A$$" -good one loser...is that like Zorro slashing his Z or are you just that gay?

Wow a 3.1 difference and yet you don't even think they are in the same class, think about it for a second. You are right though in one aspect, ND has not faced as good of LBs ins Schelegel and Hawk, but with an iffy Carpenter that seriously takes some sting out of that matchup. Meanwhile OSUs corners can be takenb advantage of and were by a Minnesota RUNNING team. Is OSU the best defensive line that ND has faced, the answer is no, I would argue that Tennessee (don't look at record) and USC have better. Unfortunately there are no stats to really prove this because OSUs LBs have greatly help set the numbers. I think ND will be able to score because he has had a month to prepare to neutralize AJ HAwk. Will it happen? Don't know thats why they play but it will be gameplanned. On defense ND will stop the run, Pittman has inflated numbers against bad defenses. Santonio Holmes will cause huge problems for the Irish. Key to the game is whether Troy Smith plays well.

Not sure where I said not in the same class but obivously we all know thats not true. Tennessee and USC! Tennessee, look they were down this year plain and simple and think they had some kind of inter team problems this season. And you mention USC, well their defense has been banged up all season. Poor examples and look this defense is better then when we won the NC. Our two losses are because of our slow start to our offense.
