Let me preface this by saying, that although the Christmas Season is a time to spread good cheer and joy, there are some negative ions floating within. It's kind of long winded (like a USC thread ) To all those TRUE members of the MadJack Family, you that are here to promote the Mission Statement of the site...TO SHARE AND HELP ONE ANOTHER BEAT THE BOOK.... I wish you the Merriest of Seasons!!


Dear Santa,

If it's true, and you already know who's been naughty and who's been nice, then merely asking you to consider my wishes should come as no surprise. These wishes are not just for me Santa. I'm the wingman in these requests. You know that I personally want very little in my stocking. My concerns are for my brothers and sisters of the MadJack family. I may be alone here, and I certainly don't want to speak for others, but I just have to think that a few members will agree, or at least nod their heads in approval. Some incidents (or posters) have occurred during the 2005 season that need to be addressed (humorously I may add...or not) Those that know me know that I rarely, if ever, have anything negative to say. But....just as Christmas comes but once a year, it's my one time to unleash. Some are simple wishes, some are intended to maybe open the eyes of a few. If there are any University students considering post graduate courses in Psychology (specifically abnormal psych :mj07 or Sociology (I'm taking my ball and going home :cursin: ) just open the threads of these "case studies" and you'll have enough documentation to do your thesis.....and who knows, maybe a Nobel Prize somewhere down the road :142lmao:

On to my list (and maybe others). Can you please bring Jack a new server for his site. What he has now is more than ample under normal circumstances, EXCEPT from 11:00 to 12:00 on Sundays. :scared We need some kind of a booster there with the volume of traffic at this peak time. Too many lurkers horning in :mj07: Most of the blame can probably be placed on the worm with his smashes taking the brunt of the hits I know that I procrastinate alot and don't get things done in time, but it's really frustrating at times. I don't miss out on worm's picks (I've already coattailed him by then ). It's the insight of the other great capers that may warrant a late play or two. And nobody wants to miss out on the "they'll cream so and so" or "they suck" or "don't have a chance" as the basis of a pick (very fadeable material here :mj07: )

And Jack..PLEASE don't be offended in the slightest by this request. It's not something I suggest you do. What you spend and provide for us already is greatly apreciated :clap: This is a request for the guy in red. I figure if he can get his big butt down the chimney then just maybe.......

our 3rd server has been ordered and will be setup and operating around mid january, hopefully sooner.

this has been driving me nuts as well. i had a lot of options that i had to consider and i made the decision last week. getting the right additional server isn't as easy as before and this one is on order, then there are programming issues, etc.

we'll be cranking during peak times again real soon.

We need a new General Manager in charge of the draft picks :mj07: The year started out pretty solid, and although the forums are anchored by the experienced veterans who have led us to a very prolific season, some of our late season (fall/early winter) draft choices leave us with a lot to be desired. As is the case with any team, there are disagreements on who was selected. "Why did we take him when he was available" seems to be the norm. Still, many are scratching their heads :thinking: WTF? with how in the world did we end up with ******on our roster? Were they free agents? Did another site close down? Were they banned elsewhere and somehow found their way to this site? :mj07: I think we're very fortunate that I LOVR WR has not made his entrance this year :clap: He's probably in traction and hospitalized from offending one too many Americans or up for murder charges after Fernando gave him constant bad advice :mj07: But he seems to be replaced by not one, not two, but numerous obnoxious wannabes that feel a need to take his place :thefinger Not mentioning any names, just check the banned list. WOW!! Not only are they proficient in bashing, but their cocky, condescending attitudes are a bit much for me. Where Do they come from? It's been a long time since I've visited another site. I know some of these places allow, or even encourage this juvenile behavior, but not here pal!! Sell your BS somewhere down the road :s4: And as is almost always the case, the BAD is counterbalanced by the good. I can already see many good contributions made by members of our latest draft. This number one pick, glenn quaggmire, gets my vote for "Rookie of the Year" . A great asset already with numerous well-thoughtout posts. Welcome aboard :mj14:

Why do you think she's from Denmark?? This contest was almost shut down with all the demonstrations from the rest of the girls not wanting to compete against a "man." The Adam's Apple was a give-a-way to most of us heterosexuals :mj07: And he actually picked Miss Libya as well. One didn't even exist!! The only photos ever allowed outside that country are of Mohmar Khadafi. Maybe you were confused staring at his picture, heh PP :s8: Beaner I'm convinced your brother was trying to discredit the "chairman of the committee" and have you disqualified from your distinguished position. You two need to kiss and make-up :kiss: Please Santa....if a new "CAPS LOCK FREE" computer is beyond the budget of what beaner deserves....can you use some of that magic dust you use to make the reindeer fly and get you up and down the chimney and sprinkle maybe a brain cell or two on the twins. That's obviously twice as much as they're dealing with now.

You don't have to be a literature major to catch the foreshadowing of FACTOID in the request above :s4: Ohhhh Santa.....is there ANYTHING within your grasp that you can do for Scott (and the sanity of those who dare enter a USC thread) I like Scott, I really do. But his obsessive-compulsive disorder has led him to the incurable disease, Trojanitis. The only other reported case in the medical journals is OJ :scared ...and we all know what happened there. The obsession with Southern Cal slowly deteriorates the brain until..SNAP (and then if you have any semblance of the ability to function, you walk around comatose like BTJ) Please Santa, for the good of this extended family here at MJ's, could we please witness just ONE THREAD with even the hint of the mention of USC that Scott doesn't have to defend with his last dying breath. May I suggest Santa that you bring him a pit bull puppy for Christmas? We all know the tenacity of these dogs and somewhere down the line when the two are playing, Scott will be forced to give in. These dogs won't let go either Let's get him conditioned for next year. He has a lot to offer :yup I have to cut this short Santa. The word "factoid" has my spell-check lighting up like a Christmas tree :mj07: It's driving me nuts. Can't find it in the dictionary either.

And Scott....I do enjoy your write-ups. This is just a gentle swipe at you oke If you don't see any truth here I would be willing to wager a bundle that you're on the wrong side

Not only the BITTER rival of our beloved Scott4USC, but apparently from every thread I can recall reading with Sun in it.....a very bitter person :cursin: Sorry Sun, just calls 'em likes i sees 'em. I know you could give two chits about what ANYONE thinks, that's quite obvious from your responses. Just wondering what ever happened in your life to make you such a downer. Like Scott, it's quite apparent that you know that of which you speak. Very, very knowledgeable with your Big 12 football. Your winning percentage (without me looking it up) is probably astonomical. I can't recall any losses you may have had along the way :clap: I truly appreciate what you give, as I'm sure do all the others that applaud your effort. It's not the GIVING that I would ever consider a problem. It's the TAKING!! There's never a gray area with you, no give or take. It's strictly your way or the highway. I'm sure this is why you and Scott collide as much as you do. Two peas in a pod. I'm sure others are turned off by your demeanor as I find myself at times. Open up a little! Let others give you your deserved accolades on occasion. I find myself reading your threads, but never responding because Mr. Grumpy will reply or the king will just sit on his throne and ignore the peons. If someone ever challenges a statement or heaven forbid presents an opposing view, LOOKOUT!! It's almost like if someone goes to congratulate you after a win with "nice day Sun" your response would be something like "it may be nice where you are but the weather sucks here" :cursin:WTF? :shrug: Ever wonder why your threads get so many hits but no replies?? Think about it. Accept the kudos as well as the differences in oppinion with a smile The word sun itself is meant to imply warmth, glowing, bright, cheerful.....not one word I'd use to desribe your personality. Again to you Sun...just my own observations, and I've hit the nail on the head more than banging my thumb. I tend to always look at the glass as being more than half full You have so much to offer. Try doing it with at least an inner smile. So much easier to do than scowl. And so much less stressful. Just a little constructive Christmas cheer :toast:

Wishes 6 & 7 will have to wait. I'm all negatived out for the day. They have to do with CHUMP and S-Love and they're not pretty.
