Woulld you care to wager on which QB goes first in the NFL draft? Maybe you know more than they do. Do you believe that Young will be a better QB in the pros or is your opinion of Young based strictly on his college game? Carson Palmer has worked out pretty well. And Matt Cassell, who couldn't start at USC and actually moved to tight end once, has been a late season QB who has had great success in the NFL.
As far as Weis vs. Tressel, I didn't hear many people shouting that Weis is the better coach. He took over the team and improved it, but not like the Irish don't have the athletes. Tressel has been a solid coach for years. Carroll vs Mack Brown is not even close.

And yes I am basing my Young pick on his college play, as im basing Lienhart on his college play. What a dumbass question, am i supposed to be basing these guys on thier NFL play, unlike you i cant see into the future. The NFL is moving towards mobile QBs, and so is college. There is no denying that.

the best qbs in the nfl aren't mobile: manning, plummer, hasselbeck, brady, rothlesburger delhomme, little manning one day maybe, brees, trent green. if you consider mcnabb or leftwitch on this list, neither of them are as mobile as they once were.
maybe the league does want to move in that direction, but it hasn't panned out so far.

Sports Ilustrated has called Palmer a flop on more than one occasion, I know that for a fact. I dont know how you don't include Vick in the list of top qbs. Just cause they had a tough year.BleedDodgerBlue said:

After I read plummer I quit giving you credit for knowing anything about QBs and I think you just listed the white QBs as not being mobile.
Another reason you dont know NFL Qbs is that it is tough for you to move around when you have a hernia (or however you spell it). Mcnabb used to be mobile yes, but he is going into surgery and should have been off the field for most of this year.

Brady, Plummer, Hasselback, & Big Ben are all mobile QB's. Are they Michael Vicks of course not, but they arent Drew Bledsoe's in terms of mobility.
A mobile QB is one who can move around in the pocket, avoid a sack & pick up some yards running every now & then on a scramble. You dont have to be able to run a 4.3 40 or juke defenders out of thier jocks like Vick does to be considered a "mobile" QB. Vick is the ultimate extreme.

yes plummer used to run. the whole point of the post is that you think the wave of the future is a mobile running quarterback and its not. coaches have seen what happens to guys like mcnabb, vick, and even the snake. they get hurt. its that simple. do you know how many good years mcnair could have had if he wasn't always hurt from the beating he took running.
and don't bring the race card into this.
i listed the top quarterbacks in the league. i could care less if vick was green, yellow, or blue. he sux. incredible athelete but rotten quarterback. so eat chit about calling me on the race card. has zero relevancy in this discussion.
by the way, after michael vick an his 597 yards rushing, who's next. oh david carr with 308 yards. so no, the future of the nfl is not the mobile quarterback. if it was, young would be drafted ahead of leinhart which won't happen.

vick is the ultimate joke in the nfl. great athelete, terrible team leader and rotten passer. nothing to do with race and its stupid others brought it up.
