if your opinion of a mobile quarterback is someone who only rushes the ball or that is his primary goal than yes there are only a few qbs in the nfl that do that and they are not good.

Many of the top QBs can and will make plays off of running not just step aside in the pocket. My definition of a mobile qb is a guy who can do just that, get out of the pocket and hurt the D if they arent on their toes.

Micheal Vick is a winner and will be one of the best QBs in the NFL, nobody was talking bad about him last year.

There are some very talented mobile QBs coming up in a few years and I wouldnt be surprised if they had an immediate impact in the NFL.

Taking it all back to Leinhart vs. Young - people talk about Texas being all Vince Young, and if you stop young then you stop texas, i dont think its true but 1 player is the cause of the #1 scoring offense in the country is pretty impressive. Leinhart might be good in the NFL, like Palmer. I think Young is something special, like Micheal Vick and will do real good.

About the qb rating, its an excellent way to judge a qb, but i would say a better way is winning games, which vick hasnt done much of this season but he has before and will again

I grew up poor bro, I got an academic scholarship to ND, thats the only reason I could afford it. And I'm very grateful to the school and alumni for it, thats why I support my alma mater so vehemently.

I think my comment on race was self explanatory. When someone says "white or black" that implies that regardless of race, the following is true

If you think that Young will be drafted before Leinhart, you are wrong. Your analogies are sophomoric and non-sequiters at best.

If you want to put up your money to back your opinion, let me know. But I guess you are a lot smarter than all the NFL GM's. Maybe they should come to you for draft day opinions. You could probably pocket loads of money with your expertise. In fact, you could also convince them that the mobile quarterback is the QB of the future. U dont contribute anything to what i asked. Yes carson palmer has had a good year, does that erase the other few where he was named as a flop?
There are great QBs from other colleges in the NFL too. Oh steve young was a good QB so BYU qb this year will be great in NFL too.
To take this one the other way, O.J. Simpson was a great SC running back so Reggie Bush is going to kill his wife.

And yes I am basing my Young pick on his college play, as im basing Lienhart on his college play. What a dumbass question, am i supposed to be basing these guys on thier NFL play, unlike you i cant see into the future. The NFL is moving towards mobile QBs, and so is college. There is no denying that.

uh...how was Terry Bradshaw his first year in the nfl? How about steve young with the Yucs? And Peyton manning didn't exactly start very quickly outta the gates...they all ended up being pretty decent from what I have seen...
