On the course!
I picked up this flick last night.

I noticed at the begining it stated, "based on a true story", or some shit to that tone.

If that's the case, it has me wondering who the Pacino player was? Which one of those TV goofs was he supposed to be?

Jim Feist? For years, he was the guy with the show, and the other guys were the "guests".

Who was "John Anthony"?

Any help out there?

I posted awhile backm when the movie first came out. I used to hang with Brandon Lang, which is not his real name either. Anyway the Pacino character is Stu Feiner. Brandon went by Mike Anthony back then, of course an alias as well. His real first name is Brandon, but the rest is pretty much ficticious. Brandon wrote the movie nearly ten years ago, it sat around a long time before it ever cane to fruition.

That movie was terrible. Luckily my company picked it up on my expense report as I watched it on the road at Holiday Inn.

I saw it and didn't think it was a great movie, but definitely didn't think it was terrible. I can tell you one thing from my experiences it is pretty close to true on some aspects of living that lifestyle.

One of the bad and deceiving parts of the whole movie is not portraying these people as scammers giving out both sides to different parts of the country AND YES THEY DID DO THAT.
