I am interested.
Thank you!

Did you guys look into a place to stay yet? Closest hotel I can find is in Toledo Ohio, damn. I hate the thoughts of driving on gameday, actually driving home gameday, but it's only like 4 hours so I may have to go that route.

Let me kow if you guys have any luck.

I have a few things working right now so hopefully something comes through. If they all come through and I happen to get extras I will post it. I really dont want to pay 2500 for a ticket.

I live 15 minutes from the stadium. my buddy rented out rooms in his house for $500 a night. We have clients that are coming in for work, they said no hotels near our office (Rencen) for 50 miles

I've been to the last 17 Super Bowls and you better be prepared to pay at least $2000 per ticket unless you get extremely lucky. My advice is to wait until the last minute because of the game being in Detroit. There is not going to be alot of people travelling there because of the weather. When the game was in Minnesota it was 1 of the easy tickets to get from my experience. GL

Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

Every game is different. When the Super Bowl was in Houston there were tickets to be had for under $1,000.

At the Rose Bowl, lots of tickets on ebay but nobody, I mean NOBODY, was selling at the game. Lots of Texas people went out there rhinking they would get a ticket and were wrong.

Vinnie, I would try the hotels near the stadium. I'm not familiar with Detroit so I don't know how close you and the scalpers can get. But what I do know is that 10 minutes before kickoff they get nervous and the prices go way down. Just make sure that the ticket has a hologram on it. Alot of fakes out there.

thanks for all the input...I dont want to scalp because I dont want to get scammed, I have a few things lined up but one of the stronger ones is getting dimmer and now I wont know until the end of the week or beginning of next week which will make it more expensive and almost impossible to get somewhere to stay. Im not going to spend more than 1500...if that means I cant go then Ill stay in Pittsburgh and watch with friends that cant afford to go.
Ive never inquired about tickets for the Superbowl because I was young and had no money when the last time the Steelers went but it seems like everyone here in Pittsburgh is looking for tickets...I dont know how half of these people can afford the face value let alone the inflated prices. I make a great living for myself and I still wouldnt pay 2000 for a ticket, thats almost 4X's the face value, thats ridiculous.
Does it seem like there is more demand for this game because the Steelers are so popular or is that because Im from Pittsburgh?
