Went to the casino in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada today-I live in the suburbs of Buffalo, NY, its only about a 20 minute drive across the border for me but sometimes the border crossing can be a pain in the arse etc-so most of the time I go to the Casino in Niagara Falls on the USA side but for some reason I went to Canada today....anyway.....
I sat down at a table (BlackJack) $50 table and started playing. After two hours or so I was up about $500 and a really cute women sat down to my right-I mean she was really pretty hot so I was always giving her a glance every few seconds-well i WENT ON A HUGE RUN AND THE WHOLE TABLE WAS WINNING..well I started talking to this woman and she made mention of my arm that is in a sling-i recently had a pin put in my shoulder from my sailing accident so my arm is in a sling...She said told me she was in from Maryland with some friends for a vacation and staying in a cottage on Lake Ontario-I asked her where in Maryland she is from and she said Salisbury-and I said" I served with a guy in the first Gulf War from Salisbury Maryland-and he was a good friend of mine and he died repelling from my "Copter"--well as I said this she turned white and I said did you know him-(I mentioned his name)-she could barely get the words out but she said thats my brother........I could not believe it-I was dumbstruck--we ended up talking for a couple of hours and i told her some things she did not know about his death...........the world is a small place--I think I was meant to see her today for whatever reason...just thought i would pass it on......strange- weird-makes you think.....
