I did see it, bored being unemployed, so I went and yes this tarentino is one deeply disturbed individual, but I already knew that from some of his other "films"

So as not too add to his bankroll, I bought a ticket to Glory Road when I went to see Hostel, fuuuucccckkkkk him and his production co. :scared

from what i have heard it is some crazy shit

Yea it is crazy shit, you can go to a butcher's shop and get what this movie is about. The only parts that don't gross you out are the couple of scenes with the pretty girls getting naked and screwing the potential victims. :scared

My buddy who's in the indy film business, said Quentin had little to do with the film. More just of an advisory role. If you look at the credits he was like assistant producer/director or something (haven't seen it going off what my buddy said). He said they more or less just paid him to get the name recognition for hype....kind of makes sense

i heard the exact same thing on some interview w/ eli roth.
I dont' think it was such a great movie, (I thought it was enteraining but not great). This movie is getting too much credit simply bc of the nasty gore. Dont' get me wrong, i like a good gore movie, but this really didn't have much else except some very hot, nude chicks. If u can sit around for the time between the nudity and the gore you would enjoy it. I just hate dead time during a movie and this had too much for me.

Was looking for a movie to go to on Friday night with my wife and read a review in the local rag that it was a good suspense movie not saying anything about the gore. The most sick movie I have seen in my life. Make texas chainsaw seem tame. Funny thing I believe it is based loosely on true facts. Sick world we live in.

That's for sure. This is what hollywood puts out as entertainment and to prove your point this crap makes money.

Hostel is nothing compared to

Hostel is nothing compared to

Ichi The Killer

Those Japanese know how to make some sick stuff.

Saw this and this puts all Western Horror Movies to Shame. If you ever want a great Gore movie rent this one.

Here is a link to the Trailer, Just a Warning Very NSFW and pretty high on the gore ratio and this is just the trailer..

I loved this flick. Some of it was actually filmed in Prague. My wife watched it with me and hated it but recognized some of the places :scared :com: :scared

I thought it was a GREAT horror flick. Scary and kept you on the edge of your seat.

just watched this tonight with the girlfriend. The thing is, we went to happy hour and had some dinner she had a couple of margaritas and was feeling pretty frisky so we decided to rent a movie and go back to her place. We rented HOSTEL. That friggin movie sucked so bad that when we left the restaurant I was hornier than a three dihked billy goat. We put in that movie and the woman went from dripping like a popsicle in july to eating a bowl of ice cream and going into the living room to watch Lifetime for Women. Needless to say the only the only thing that absolutely sucked was that piece of crap movie. Was horrible.

Had to pull the sheets out of the dvd player as the movie sucked them in.

I made the mistake of actually buying this movie because everyone said how scary and gory it was. It was neither. I laughed through most of it and the special effects were so pathetic, especially the eyeball scene. Seriously, stay away from this movie if you love horror.

Audition
Ju-On
High Tension
Ichi the Killer
Three...Extremes
Open Water
Saw
Saw2
Wolf Creek
The Exorcism of Emily Rose

Hell, even Tamara ...all of these flicks are scarier and/or more gory then this joke of a movie.
