why dont you take a poll and see if people wouild be willing to pay .50 cents or a dollar or two dollars a month for this great site, because that would weed out a little bit of everything, I tried most of sunday morning, and especially last night to read some good info and analysis on the games and the site is just flat out TOO SLOW for the traffic you're generating, it's great your doing well and the sites free, but what good is a free site if it takes a year and a day to get in and read posts/write posts anytime between 10am-12am sat mornings and especially on an nfl sunday at anytime, maybe you can talk to the tech guys, because since you changed the site layout it's just gotten slower at the main times, just my take, it's your business, I dont know what others think, thanks for listening

Hey Beantown some people post good analysis, stats and thoughts and people had some good picks before going pay(chenker in hockey, etc) so relax, Id like it free, but what the hell good is it if it never works? cmon jim relax here I'm one of the guys on here who laughs at your stuff and finds you funny actually no need to be so damn hostile, lets all just pick winners and beat the man :thefinger :thefinger

The key is to be here prior to Saturday. You'll get plenty of good info during the week. Once Sunday hits the place is overrun by guys who just want to know who Northcoast took, or whatever. I couldn't believe it when I saw the services thread had about 5x the number of hits of any other thread. Really good 'cappers are getting buried by garbage. Just check things out early.

Boy, you've sure had a change in opinion in a few years. You WANT Jack to charge to get on the site here, and now, you berate him and those who you think are "on their knees" to him and the books that he has his hand in. That's a worse flip/flop than our favorite politicians. :142smilie

Why do some people complain about the site being slow and others don't? This is just a question.........I have never had a problem with the speed. There must be a tech reason for this. I could see if your using dial up or maybe your computer needs a good defrag or something...............any thoughts guys???

Hi Guys - just browsing. For the record, I've never experienced slow service or had a problem getting on this site at any time of day. I'm not a techie, but I've been told that high-speed via phone modem is faster than high speed via cable modem. With cable, your service will slow down if lots of people in your neighborhood (or building) are on the internet at the same time. With phone, your neighbors don't affect your speed. This could be bullshit, but that's what I've been told.
