After playing for 2.5 hours in a tourney, in 2nd place. I get dealt AK spades in first position, I raise 5 times the blind, guy next to me calls, everyone else folds. Flop comes A 9 4 two diamonds, I put guy next to me all in, he calls, turns over QQ.....

The turn................QUEEN....nothing on river, I lose a big stack of chips.....

And if that isn't bad enough, next hand I get dealt A3 of diamonds in the big blind, one guy doubles the blinds, two people call, and I call.... Flop comes A 3 2 (no possible flush)... I check hoping for a raise and boy do I get it, one guy raises, next guy reraises, next guy folds, and I move all in...

I thought about one of them having a set, but they had been trying to re-raise people out of pots for the last hour and I was waiting for this type of situation....

Both people call, one has A10 off, one has AQ off....

Can you guess the next two cards???

Turn is a Queen and River is a 10....So long tournament :scared :mj07: :sadwave:

WTF, not sure I would have played either hand any different...

I don't even play anymore online

time after time it seems unfair

thats the thing is people play stupid and get bailed out

seriously, I would be unhappy when I was dealt pocket aces because I knew I would play the hand confidently and then inevitably get busted

I used to play all the time and then stopped. Then I started a bit again and it was the same old story.

same old chit happens in live games too.

i still haven't gotten over a wsop circuit event where my pocket AA was raised all in by pocket KK and a K came on the turn to knock me out when i should have been chip leader or close had i won like i should have.

Tell me about it, just busted out of 6 straight sng's without cashing. The last 2 were on the bubble, and everytime I went out, I put my money in with the best cards, got sucked out on 5 of those 6 sng's. Ridiculous. And most of the time when their cards were shown, they were horrible calls. My AQ got busted by Q9, and AK to Q10. I hate online poker because you always either go on a hot streak or a REAL cold streak.

was playing cash game at no limit at hawaiin gardens casino in LA. I may never again play rags even if it is not raised before flop.

Had 9-3 offsuit. 3 players to flop (me:small blind, Seat 3: BB, seat 5 other player), no raises

flop: 3-3-7 (2 spades)

I check hoping someone will bet their 7. BB bets out 40 bux. Seat 5 calls. I then wait and think a bit and figure I have the best hand and raise a 100. BB calls and Seat 5 calls. Turn is a 5 (no spade). I now suspect that BB has a "3" but I just don't know what his kicker his. Did not want spade chaser to get a free card, so I bet out 100 not too much , not to little, seeing what BB will do. BB goes all in with 256. Seat 5 calls, obviously hoping to hit his flush. I have to call with odds and I could very well have the best hand.

Well we all turned up our cards BB has 3-5. Seat 5 does very well have 2 spades.

River is an ace (spade).

Big Blind wins a monster pot

Poker is brutal. I was playing very well poker for 4 hours and then this hand made me go broke in less than 3 minutes. It is not fair but if you play it you gotta accept what it gives to you.

the only betting i do online is sports. playing poker online is fun, but i dont want to obsess over a really bad beat and think its rigged. i'd prefer it in person.

Its pretty simple really, all this whining and nonsense and people just dont realize..

TEXAS HOLD EM SUCKS!!

Its a shitty bad beat game, get used to it....and online is worse because you play 3-4 times as many hands..
