My family could use your thoughts and prayers....

I just found out a couple of hours ago that my grandfather passed away this afternoon of a massive stroke very unexpectedly.... While he was 85, he was in great health and no one in the family was prepared for the sudden shock.... Please keep my family, especially my mother, in your thoughts and prayers in the next few days.... Arrangements will probably be this weekend, but I haven't heard yet. We are all still in shock....


Many of the members of this forum seem almost as close as family to me. Thanks in advance for being there for me and my family in this difficult time....

buddy i know exactly what you are going threw. My grandmother also eightyfive passed away two weeks ago due to a massive stroke. It was and still is very difficult to deal with. my thoughts and prayers are with your family.

TAOIST SORRY TO HEAR THAT HOWEVER MY WIFES MOTHER IS VERY SICK WITH COLON CANCER AND SHE HAD AN OPERATION AND BELIEVE ME TOAIST HE WENT THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE.MY MOTHER IN LAW IS ALWAYS GOING TO THE BATHROOM THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO GET HER HEALTHY ENOUGH TO GO HOME ITS SAD TO SEE AND I KNOW YOUR GRANDFATHER WOULDNT HAVE WANTED TO END UP WITH HOSPICE.I MISS MY FATHER A LOT HE HAS A MASSIVE HEART ATTACK HE DIED AT 78 YEARS OLD HAVING NEVER SPENT A DAY IN THE HOSPITAL IT WOULD HAVE DESTROYED HIM IF HE HAD TO HAVE NURSES CLEAN UP AFTER HIM.IT JUST SEEMS LIKE I AM GOING TO A WAKE OR FUNERAL EVERY MONTH NOW ITS GETTING REALLY DEPRESSING.

BOYS WE SHOULD ALL BE LUCKY ENOUGH TO SUFFER MASSIVE HEART ATTACKS RATHER THAN FIGHT THROUGH OPERATIONS AND BE BED RIDDEN FOR OUR FINAL 6 MONTH'S OF OUR LIVES.
