We gotta getem back for yesterday. Can't say today looks that much better, but I believe there's at least 2 SURE shots listed. You guys (gals?) do a better job at wedding out the winners, so I ain't gonna mark them as sure shots.

Today:

DAVYDENKO -240: The kind of player you just ride with for awhile. Oliver is a good upsetter, but ya gotta go with Davy even at these odds.

DEMENTIEVA -120 : Man am I pissed. I had her highlighted on my pad for yesterday and, can ya believe it?... . I never realized I missed putting her in. She is in some kind of form and dbl. faulting lesser and lesser. She WAS and IS my darkhorse on the ladies side for this tourney AND the big one coming up. Let's see how she fares today against a tough oponent.

Carlsen -260 (vs. Chiudinelli): Can Do!

BLACK/STUBBS -260: If you ain't familiar with this doubles team - you need to be. They are AUTOMATIC in ANY tourney until you get to the Quarters... . . and then you only need to look and see who the oponents are before pulling the trigger.

WAYNE ARTHURS +110: Is this guy falling through the ranks or what. His greenhorn oponent won't get a racket on Wayne's serve - so how the hell can he ever win this?

CAMERIN -165 (vs. Bremond): He just plain outclasses Bre.

Alves -175 (vs. Lisnard): Who vs. what? Just like yesterday's play on Morrison which was a winah!

Matchem n Mixem - have fun.

Jimbo - not trying to be an asshole or anything, but if u r calling del Potro, one of the most promising teenagers in the game, and a guy already with some big scalps to his name, a "greenhorn opponent" then I suggest u might want to do a little more study...
btw, posting this with the game still in progress, so it's not re the result, rather with the selection process...
del potro would easily rank alongisde Nole, Cilic, de Bakkerand Korolev as the next wave of top-10 players...

Four Wieners today dance1

Still not good enough, but I'm liking what I see in the first round of the Open. Be sure to come back for more.

Hoops: Happy to introduce you to Black/Stubbs. Or maybe you already knew about them and I just reminded you that they're playing; that good enough too. REMEMBER THESE 2 doubles specialists. Make sure U put some in yer pocket and RIDEM some more. Don't know what round they're in, but this duo should be good until the quarters. Then ya gotta take a look at who they're playing and how each team has been doing in their current tourney.

tt: Sorry bout Carlsen. Gotta admit, his record is pretty bad, but Lisnard's is "worser" and pretty much limited to challenge type players whereas Carlsen has faced some names we'd recognize. That's one of the reasons why I suggest making two teamers but DON'T cover ALL the combinations. Sometimes it really pays off unexpectedly like for me today where I had Carlsen with Dementieva. Two losers but only lost 1/4 of what would have been on two seperate single plays (losers). Yeah, sometimes it can kill a winner if the second play in the parlay losses, but this method has been working for me.

In my book, Andes -> "promising" means the same thing as "greenhorn". No need to study that. I see that the Arthurs/Potro match is over.
It took the promising greenhorn 2 overtime sets to beat a no. 171 ranked player. Yep, he's a greenhorn alright. I hope these two play again so I can double up on Arthurs and git my moola back.

Hey, no problem - good to see you visit to see what my picks are. Stick around, you might improve your win percentage.

Good luck everybody for next weeks biggie.
