There is a chat going back in forth in the offshore forum, but thought I would post it here to see if other people have heard about it or are doing it. Mansion.com is offering a free bet on the Pitt/Miami game next week. Basically, you bet $1100 on Pitt, if they win/cover you win your bet, if they lose, you get a full refund of your $1100.

Here is the link to that forum
http://www.madjacksports.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1516286&posted=1#post1516286

Has anyone read/heard about this promo. It really does sound to good to be true. My thought is to hedge with an outside book and guarantee $450.

That's pretty gutsy of them.....I think the Fins go in there and beat them!! Pitt's getting their SB rings that night also.....they could be thinking about other things than the game itself. Look what happened to the WSox this season the game they got their rings at home...Indians spanked them! I'm just a Dolphin fan trying to have some faith here hoping the upset happens.....not betting the game though.

I was going to post this, but I figured its not one of the boards sponsors so it'd get trashed... anyways... I already made this bet with mansion and Im going to be heding it with pinnacle I believe to ensure a $450-500 or so win.

Just saw the line on the game....Pitt-4. I actually LOVE Miami now even more! That spread should be atleast 7-8. Vegas is saying something with that spread they posted for this game......I smell a trap for Pitt backers.

Hmm something very fishy there...if it is too good to be true it usually is...

MANSION Peter:
This promotion is to attract new players to our website to see what
MANSION has to offer and is also available to existing Players too.

snoozer:
is there any penalty for me to remove the $2100 immediatley after the
game, assuming I win

MANSION Peter:
There are no wagering requirements once your account has been credited

He really did'nt answer your question though,He just says their is no wagering requirements,Not you can take it out right after,There has to be like a 30 day hold over or something!

I was told in my chat w/ customer service that you can withdraw immediately.

What the Hell, I'll give it a shot.

I just asked them about the rollover and couldnt catch them in anything. In terms of that disclaimer they said that they can withdraw the promotion at any time but that anyone who had bet still fell under the promotion they bet.

I tend to be pretty skeptical but I'm unable to find a catch so far. The bet will be back up tomorrow morning they said.

If anyone can find a catch I'm all ears

I was just wondering what the rollover requirements are for the Steelers promotional bet.

MANSION Laising:
No roll over required

acehistr8:
So there is no rollover require for winning, and if the bet loses, its refunded within 3 working days

MANSION Laising:
Thats correct sir

acehistr8:
I see under the terms and conditions that "MANSION reserves the right to withdraw or amend this offer at any time without prior notice." -- does that mean you can change your mind after all the bets are place? Just curious as I try to always read the fine print

MANSION Laising:
:) its always advisable to read the fine print

MANSION Laising:
Basically we can withdraw the promotion whenever we want but anyone who has placed the bet within the active promotion still qualifies for that promotion#

acehistr8:
OK thanks, and this will be back up tomorrow morning?

MANSION Laising:
The promotion yes sir it will be back up tomorrow morning

I got this bet a few days ago thru mansion, now I need to find a place to hedge for Miami +4.5 so I can guarantee profit.

They did this with a world cup game and paid off the same day.

I'd imagine they are laying the bets off on another book, or books and just paying the juice to get new players with $1000 they can toss around.

Not a bad promo if you ask me.

thats exactly what they are doing, books value customers that can "afford" to throw around bets this big. Personally this is about 2/3 of my small stakes poker earned bankroll, and i'll be hedging to ensure a profit, but some people im sure will stay and play around with the money if they win or lose on the promotion.

Wonder if they'll change the line when they rehang the bonus offer tomorrow morning? Theyd have to right, almost certain would get pounded on Miami +4.5 if they left it like that.

im guessing what they will do is make the new line for the bonus -2.5 or whatever, and then all the people like me who grabbed it early at -4.5 get screwed. I wanted to middle @ pinnacle or bodog to ensure a profit... now I can't do that and the original wager is probably a loser, so Ill end up +/- 0... awesome.

They may not even put it back up. They did reserve the right to end the promotion at any time.

Would feel bad for anyone if that was the case and the money got locked into this book. Would be perfect scenerio for them, but awful for the players looking to take advantage of the promo.

Curious to see what they do.
