That is good. Keep on driving that spread up. Ohio State wins with the senior experianced QB. Just like last year with Texas in Columbus. I'll take the moneyline and OSU.

Sun,

What are your thoughts on the Texas squad? I got a pretty good look at the new Buckeye defense and wasnt impressed......good defensive line especially at the ends.......but very poor linebackers, and they have the wrong players starting. D Backs are talented by raw. Not sure if the Horn offense is seasoned enough to take advantage.....thoughts?

I LOVE the over, as I see a shootout. I dont think anyone in the country can stop the Buckeye offense.....too much firepower.....but they are going to have to outscore a lot of teams this year

Just now looking at lines. Not sure if I will play game yet....lots of appeal in teh Big 12 lines. The Horns offense actually returns pretty much everyone except Vince and Thomas at tight end. They are very seasoned other than QB, which is of course the most important position.

The thing that really scares me about Ohio State is that they have no kicker who can make a FG. We have been sooooo spoiled over the years with All-American kicker after another and we saw yesterday that we absolutely have two below average kickers. Both great on kickoffs but no chance on FG's.

Nah.....I dont think it is a problem. He came up short on a 51 yarder, which I havent seen in 5 years, and missed wide on a 44 yarder......I wouldnt say it is time to worry just yet. But definately mediocrity is in the future......

Agreed somewhat. However, if you noticed they alternated kickers and they both missed. I'm not sure which one I like best. Wolfe for NIU also ran for about 180 yards.

Can I get an answer??

Can I get an answer??

I keep asking you and now the time has come your sweet Texsas team rolled over a barely D-AA school; I figured Texas would be favored by 2.5 and I said I would it at you as a pick. You make the wager amount whatever you want. You are the the big XII guru; this should be easy Texas at home. Come on!! Also give me a break about however wins this game and USC play; USC was one of by biggest plays Ark is hoRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrible; and USC still reloads; as far as Texas; NT is one of the worst teams in Div I; give me a break. Its all on you big time BIG XII guru. The ball is in your court. How about this?? If Oh State wins you never show yourself again on this site same for me. What do you want to bet that you dont say crap?????

Tease,
Went to the game and I have to agree; wasn't impressed w/ OSU defense. Lot of bad pursuit angles and LB's leaving their feet and flying towards runners instead of keeping their feet and "scraping".

For OSU to win I think it'll have to be high scoring. Troy will have to on his A game. (Of course both teams will need the A game to win this one.)

I was impressed w/ Chris Wells, though. He ran hard. He and Pittman make a nice 1-2 punch.

Again no response can you saw coward??

Again no response can you saw coward??

Without Vince Young and Huff you arent so blunt even though you already think the winner of the texas/osu game plays for the nc game; your no response to me just tells me one thing you are a coward and unless its a lock for your precious longhorns than you are out of town. If I lose i say good game no big deal; you wont even respond to the challenge; espescially after they looked good against a team that a 5 pt dog to SMU AT HOME; lets see who comes to play this time. Thanks for chickening i am sure most thought you would and by the way your plays barely hit 50% so why even post??

Thank MJ. Lots of class on Sun's part not to get sucked into this vomitorium.
Think this is an under game. Colt looked like a little kid amongst the rest of the Longhorn offense last week. He played with lots of poise. He didn't make silly frosh mistakes, but will see lots of pressure from OSU. Hope those horn backs can break out with some long runs if OSU cheats their secondary up to pressure Mccoy.

The OVER is 50

The OVER is 50

I Think The Buckeyes will have to score 32 - 35 points to win this game. I DO NOT see a defensive struggle here at all. All of us pulling 4 the Bux need to pray that Tressel allows the O to be unleashed. Go Bux.

I have the same outlook on this game as I did the Miami/FSU game. I think Ohio St will have to put up alot of points to beat texas because I do not think OSU will be able to hold off Texas. I mean OSU has a bunch of inexperience on D, and alot of OSU backers will say that OSU recruits greats every year, but I will take Veteren NC backfield and OL against a bunch of inexperienced "Greats" any day.

Basically I think the over is a good hedge on Texas winning because I think Texas can still win if the game goes over but I doubt seriously that OSU can hold texas down and keep them from scoring less than a couple TDs.

That being said I lost both bets on Miami/FSU :mj07:
but i still think I was on the right side of both plays
