THIS SHIT IS JUST GETTING OUT OF HAND

Multi-State Collaboration -- The multi-state Internet gambling task force formed in August 2005 by the Washington State Gaming Commission is meeting today in Seattle. The task force was assembled in an effort to broaden and coordinate enforcement efforts against illegal Internet gambling in the United States. Members include the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Justice and numerous state gaming agencies. Topics to be covered in today's meeting include Washington state's recently adopted anti-Internet gambling law, current legal cases and additional topics surrounding the industry. The meeting is closed to the public.

MJ...seriously, how concerned should we all be about future actions the gov't may take against online gambling? I have already pulled out half of my money in all my sportsbooks, but I still have alot of money in the accounts. Do you think its possible for something to happen to the bigger books like Pinnacle and Olympic?

We have to all get together and vote out of office every person that even passes this crap through their lips.

There is no way they can keep us from gettting access to internet sites.

I will send fawking cash or a cashiers check in the mail to fund accounts. How do they stop that ?

Scott I'm not concerned over how we get money to them...but how are they going to get the money to us when we withdraw?

I'm also not up for doing anything illegal if they plan on seriously going after and prosecuting people that are doing the gambling. I really doubt they would be able to pull it off, but sy they go after 10% of the ppl, and prosecute them hard, I would not want to be part of that %....know what I mean?

anyways, I''m not losing sleep over this yet...but I will if they ever decide to ban internet gambling, in fact I may look into moving to anther country...

I hear you.

If the internet companys can't get the money to us, then they will go out of business. I doubt they will not be able to find a way.

Maybe they can declare themselves non profit organizations, and give a large percentage to charity.

Do you realize the extent of internet gambling in the US ?

There are approximately 380 million US citizens.
I would venture to say that there are easily
65 million of us that gamble.

And of course this is all about money. The goverment cannot stand that billions are being wagerd and they get no piece of it. Thats what this is all about.

Hey tax it. Work on that legislation. Prohibition didnt work back in the liquor days and it aint going to work with internet gambling.

How the fawk can anyone think they can prosecute us. Its a joke. Maybe they could get a few big winners, but the common gambler not wagering big bucks, no way in holy hell.

This is war !

The problem that I have is although I enjoy playing blackjack, I could care less about going to a casino, horse track, or any other gambling venue.

I only am interested in sportsbooks wagering.

In a large representative group we need to get us some lobbyists to start throwing some cash around in the right places. :SIB

.............................................................

Maybe we could start one right here.

Instead of waiting to go to slaughter like sheep.

We could call it Madjacks fury.

We are mad as hell and we are not going to take it any more.

Rise up and be counted.

If every member at madjacks say 5,000 sent madjack 100 bucks thats 500 thousand.

I think a attorney would be who we would need.

Maybe Eddie Haskell could give us some advice on this matter.
