I got an offer from the company I want to work for.

My FedEx package comes tomorrow with the details.

WOW :mj06: I got laid off and I've been working 2 jobs over the last 3 months.Today, I finally got the #1 job I wanted. I interviewed 4 times. They did a background check, a reference check, and an "on the job" work day. I expected a drug screening, but they didn't want one (I would have passed). Over a three week period.

Drinks on me tonight boys!!!!!

Hopefully, I will be able to watch some football now. I've been working mad hours and I am ready for two days off!!! Last month I had 3 off days. This is my second this month.

THINGS I NEED TO UPDATE FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO KNOW:

1. I now have admitted in a court to the charge of Wreckless Driving. I am sorry, it is now official and I have completed my obligations. Thanks Taoist and Ronnie

2. I have reactivated my e-mail address that I let laspe. (self edit) @hotmail.com

3. How 'bout them Blazers? Take them as a dog and leave them alone as a fav. Unless they are a road fav.....a road fav. is an odd place for the Blazers. Look for them to cover.

4. Don't believe me, just ask Memphis.

unfortunately i have never found a job that i liked. i had a job that made me lots of money but you know the saying about money & happiness.

tonight or tomorrow when i go out to dinner...i will toast you getting your ideal job.

Cograts man..enjoy life. I am. I will be getting laid off in 2 weeks and looking forward to it. Yep I worked my ass off for 30 years now just work part time and party in Cancun every year. Put away for your future you won't regret it. GL

blazer, not to rehash your thread about the drunk driving months ago, but my friend is having a similar issue and asked me questions which I cant answer, ie does a dwai or dui or wrckless driving show up on background checks? he's freakin out as you did, tough situastion, but glad you came out well of it, nothing better than doing something you enjoy and getting paid, you are certainly in the minority:SIB
