I know your trip to Vegas began with a meeting with Lawyers.

I'm guessing that the disclaimer at the bottom of the page was one recommendation.

Anything else you can share or does the content of that meeting need to be kept under wraps?

And finally, this shit has to be causing headaches, and 5 day hangover's, but is there anything the members of the site can do to help the madjack cause?

There's no need for you to bear the full burden of this situation. During the Aces Gold fiasco, you lost your money, your advertising money and many tried to make you the patsy of a book that lied to your and our faces, then cut bait and ran. Since the beginning of MJ's, I have seen countless times someone post a situation with a book and you step in to help it get resolved.

Well, It's payback time.

Let us know the plan, boss.

I would say the best thing we can do is keep depositing at books that are sponsors of MadJacks.

I alway send them an e-mail when I deposit just to make sure they know I signed up because they are a MadJacks sponsor.

Come to think of it maybe I'm the one paying for the advertising here in a round about way, hhmm.

wow, what a nice post. i'm not sure how to reply to it.

let's see. what did i find out from the lawyers?

-for one, it's a good thing i have never participated in any affiliate deals with the sportsbooks and casinos. affiliate deals, for those who don't know, are when a site operator takes a percentage of losses from the players they refer to them. i have never taken a commission in any way from any advertiser. my advertisers pay a flat fee for the period their banners are up on madjacks, usually one year terms. Therefore I AM NOT A PARTNER WITH ANY SPORTSBOOK, plain and simple.

-the new law is mainly going after the operators of offshore sportsbooks by stopping ways for us to fund our accounts. also, should an operator of an offshore sportsbook enter the U.S. chances are they will be arrested. there are and will be new ways to fund our accounts and the feds are not going to come after the recreational bettor, they want the gambling operators.

nobody i have talked to as of yet knows how the banks are going to be able to police this effort or even if they will be persued by the feds should they not do anything about it. it's going to be a very expensive thing for the banks to implement and i don't think we've heard the end of this yet.

i would be apprehensive depositing money with any "public" company sportsbook at this time because they have shareholders to answer to and it appears that they are pulling out of the U.S. market. i guess we'll have to see what happens.

the non-public books just have to stay away from setting foot in this country and everything will be fine because what they do is LEGAL where they do it from

that's just in a nutshell of what i've learned and some of my own opinions. we'll have to wait and see what the future brings.

how can you help madjacksports? support the advertisers so they still want to advertise here for years to come. if they get business they will advertise.

any questions about particular books, i am just an email away.

thanks for your post, it's appreciated.
