Clemson / VA Tech

Here is my thought. I think this will be a close game, and if it is this to me seems like a good move.

However, I've been Joe Public one to many times, so your thoughts are always welcome!

I'm thinking about playing both sides of this one.

The other option is to take the UNDER 50

Both of these teams have, and can put up some points. VA Tech is averaging 29pts per game, and Clemson is above that number. IMO the over seemed smarter than the Under.

If the score comes somewhere around 28-17 Clemson... which i think is very possible... then we have winners all around.

Haven't made up my mind yet,

any thoughts?

Personally I think VT will play to the level of Clemson in this game. If Clemson scores VT will score. If it starts out as a defense battle it will end that way. I think the total is a crapshoot but I feel good that VT will keep this thing very close if not win the game.

how can tech hold of the rush if they can't run. i don't see tech winning if they have to pass on every down.

I took Tech +5.5

Must win for Tech @ home. I like the points. It's not always about who the better team is otherwise all favorites would cover. VT will be playing at 100% tonight and that is enough for me to back them. Also look back to the Clemson @ Wake Forest match. Clemson was being dominated on the road for 3 quarters and should have lost that game. Wake handed them the game in the 4th and looked bad as a 17 point favorite on the road. Good luck

Yeah, I see it as a back and forth game as well.

Clemson has not played a game this season where the score did not go over 35 and VA Tech only played one game this season that was under 35 (Boston College 22-3)

If the game stays close then I think this is a good look.

If you win one and lose the other (betting the same amount on both) you only risk the juice.

Hit them both and you can laugh all the way to the bank!!

I like it! I think VT can with this SU, but I don't think it will be a blow out. If VT does win Clemson will be lingering around.

Surprisingly enough, VT ranks 49th in the nation in passing offense. Beware of your perceptions my friends.

That VT offense is really that weak. They have looked bad at times but I think they are capable of scoring.

I think those passing numbers are not a good representation of their offense...

They have had 2 games over 250 yds passing... Duke, who sucks and GT who at one point was up 37-13. Glennon is barely completing 50% of his passes and is good for at least 1 pick.

Great points. But you bring another thought to mind. I don't think VT lets another conference opponent come into their home stadium and beat them up the way GT did. Just can't see it happening.
