So we all coincidentally got the same popup completely unrelated to MJ's at the same time from our completely different computers only when we visit MJ's? Sure, that makes sense. I think you've been having too much unprotected linking with Central America.

WTMJ is your Packers, Badgers, Brewers, Bucks... FLAGSHIP!!!! I've heard that ad about 10,000 times in my life.

No pop-ups here so far, though.

maybe an advertiser's banner puts in a cookie or something. clean your computers with some anti spyware programs.

i have no idea and can't troubleshoot something i don't have or get or know about. i asked the tech support, which i already knew the answer, just in case. :mj16:

I'm serious too. I get like a 'security' box that pops up and asks for a user name and a password. It says '610' something or other on the top and then I click it and it goes away.

It would be really swell if you took posters (neaverteaseit and me) complaints a little more seriously in the future. Thank you.

that's the one that i have gotten..except mine was 620.....but haven't gotten it on this trip on the forum.

bdb....i don't go to any political forums...& why would you think that would be disrespectful telling me that ?...i'm confused.

I hang out in the political forum all the time, and I've never heard of this ARl82 guy.

620 is the call letters of that radio station. maybe this idiot was right.

my read on you is that you are a bright guy who usually has something useful to say. not brash and my guess would be well educated. i said no disrespect because some people treat politics like its a taboo subject. i don't go in that forum either. my idea of politics is simple. keep everyone out and worry about this country before worrying about countries in areas i never want to go. some people take talking politics to a new level and to the extreme and i certainly didn't want it to come across like i thought you were some political lunatic or something.
lots of respect for ya.

I have never got a pop up while surfing mj's.

Al,

please follow the following instructions

copy and paste the following to your browser
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/HijackThis.exe

Click OK (to save onto hardrive)
By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Hijack This.
Continue to click Next in the setup dialogue boxes until you get to the Select Addition Tasks dialogue.
Put a check by Create a desktop icon then click Next again.
Continue to follow the rest of the prompts from there.
At the final dialogue box click Finish and it will launch Hijack This.
Click on the Do a system scan and save a log file button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
Click Save to save the log file and then the log will open in notepad.
Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet.
