PT1, Love HOU in this spot, III call for anther outright upset! This Hou team is very close to getting it. Next year the Texans will be extremely in the 2nd year of coach Ks system. Their starting to look like DEN South. They need to continue to build that defense through the draft and free agency. In coach Ks offensive system, like DEN, you can take average talent and make them look good.

I agree with you that Kubiak will turn this into a winner, but looking like Denver South is a stretch.
I have never seen the real Denver struggle this bad at running the football.
Lundy had 20 carries for 43 yards yesterday.
The Dallas game the RB's had 14 carries for 19 yards.

Texans need to get the O-Line straight, although it is better, it still needs a rock in it.

Gonna try the Raiders in the rain tonite.

I agree, they dont remotely resemble DEN right now.........Im just seeing alot of similiarities with the roll out passes and misdirection running plays that DEN has run for years. In addition, I concur that they need to focus on bolstering that offensive line, but I wouldnt put all the blame on them.............Lundy is not a starter for any other NFL team. Would like to see HOU get in position to get A. Peterson in the draft in April.

Early reports around Houston is that they will not take a back in the draft in the 1st round. No Peterson or M. Bush.
It is too early to say what they would do though.
That is just the media talking that noise.

Who do you listen to? When Im in H-TOWN I listen to those to clowns Lance and John on 610 sports..........their actually really good. Whatever is happening in Houston with sports their on top of it. While were on the subject, Im calling for the Rockets to leap past DAL and SA to win the division. I almost got laughed off the forum for that prediction.

Good stuff Donny, love to see a contrairan man on the board. You have similar thoughts as I do on media and hype for a team or player! With all the information at out finger tips how come finding a capper that is mid 60% consistently is far and few between. I've said it a number of times before. the lights of Vegas have never been brighter! Had the same feeling yesterday picking my parlay, had the stones to pull the trigger on Miami but ended up going with Pit instead of the 49ers for the other half, all due to being scared of taking the 49ers. Only to get the your same jitters when I saw the lines for the late games and saw Pitt go down to 2.5 even though everyone and their brother was on Pitt!! Sort of saw the writing on the wall then, but let it ride! I have my theories on lines of 2.5, 3.5, 6.5, 7.5 etc, which I believe end up sucking in a lot of bettors depending on the situation. Good luck Donny, always good to hear different points of views!

Hi Don...welcomed you when you first came in, know you don't want to get involved in a service, know your posts have the ring of truth to them, as in the amount you bet. The main thing is, you are giving to this board something valuable, and that is the dog betting perspective.

And yeah, a 41 year old alcoholic who frequents hookers and strippers in Mexico is not likely to be a college student. Actually, the very idea...!!! :com: :mj07:

ANYWAYS...Thank You for sharing...it's the best education in betting sports that I've had in many a year, and I am not a kid.

BTW...Arizona is now +7 (-113) at Pinny. A play?

Take care of your liver, guy...and thanks for all your efforts.

I can't believe I played a team led by Andrew Walter.

John and Lance are top notch.John is the one saying they will focus elsewhere and he is the sideline guy for Texans radio.

Time will tell with the Rockets. They need to gel as a unit and stay healthy.Probably a 5 seed this year behind division winners one other team.

Hey Don...you are not fat if you surf, and definitely not stupid. Not trying to disrespect you or smear you. And no idea what the brass III thing is about.

I look forward to learning some more lessons from you in basketball, and that stuff about alcohol and women was just from stuff you had said yourself.

Just want you to know that your efforts to give what you have learned over the years are much appreciated.

Take care...

KEGRAY1, I could not stomach that game, I had action on UTAH -2 over PISTONS and between commercials I watched WWE. I dont know whats more difficult to watch, the Raiders offense or Tony Cornheiser. They are the worst! Yeah, I was aware that John work the sidelines for HOU. I listen to their radiio broadcast when I got action on them. Love their play by play guy.

I'm a skins fan.I took the 7pts already. Think they can get win outright?

McNabb can a huge day vs the weak secondary
of the Skins. Philly DLine is really good also.

GL with all your plays this week!

I like some of the points you are making Don and I can see that you are doing well so who am I to argue? I was just stating that if you indeed play the dogs because Joe Public has a hard time picking Dogs because it feels safer to pick the obvious (favs) why would you be encouraging anyone to tail you as it would only hurt your odds? Are you that generous and if so let me say thankyou for the great advice. Its interesting stuff

When has the Philly Dline been good this season because Ive been watching and they have been getting pushed around as of late. The one thing that would worry me about taking the points is that Andy reids eagles are usually good off of the bye so this may not be the right spot but Don likes it. I understand the thinking though as why would the eagles be spotting anyone 7 points?

TULAH, yeah, I think the Skins win outright.........why not the last 3 teams that played this overrated Philly team won. Ive seen this a 100 times, what transpired in the Dallas game could prove to be a turning point in the season for Washington. Joe Gibbs is one of the best coaches in the NFL in the dog role.

EMERSONBOOZER, Im not attempting to fade the public.............many times I am on the opposite side of the betting public because I bet nothing but dogs. But really I dont care what side Im on. I have a database that I forulated at the start of the season and I dont deviate from it. I play into the numbers.

I see Philly covering the number here.

Yes, Joe Gibbs is a good coach, but so is Andy Reid.

Philly is mad right now and I think they come in ready to play.

I do agree with a lot of your underdogs week in and week out, but I think in this game you have to look beyond the numbers.

Emotions play a BIG role in all of this as well.

Just feel this is a must win for Philly, and I think they get it done.

Great post Don but there is one game that I find very confusing. The public is famous for looking at the last game a certain team played, and don't pay attention too much to a bye week. Not only did the Eagles have a subpar performance against the Jags, in which the winds were very strong, I believe they lost there last game before that as well on that INSANE FG in Tampa. Right now the ending of the cowboys game has been splattered all over the place. Skins getting some publicity and the Eagles coming off 2 losses in a row. I was thinking the line would be -4 for Philly but -7? I would not touch the Skins here as I think Philly covers.

I am going to be very interested to see how the public bets on this game. I could see it being similar to the Jags/Jets game a few weeks back after the Jets nearly beat the Colts and the Jags were favored by 7. Something is very suspicious with this line.
