Clear your cache. Then reboot. If that doesn't work, hit f1/esc/f9/tab while you defrag. Run adaware/spyware/norton and McAfee.

If that doesn't work, contact Tim J. and go from there.

Cleared cache, ran CCleaner, defragged, still nothing....

Got it!!

Right clicked on speaker in toolbar, went to properties, open volume control, options and had to turn pc speaker back on.

WTFUCK, how did that get clicked off?:nono:

Maybe I accidentally hit 7 buttons the other night?:142smilie

Update Drivers

Did you update your drivers in device manager? Also, if you have the driver may be corrupt so try "rolling back" the driver to a pervious version, then redownload the new driver and install it. Make sure no other programs are running while installing or rolling back (especially this that require sounds etc)

Well shlt, i was a little late on that one! Glad you got it fixed, but if you do want to give the laptop away, just let me know :)
