But reward the team that lost to Oregon State. That sure makes sense. Or if Mich_OSU was the first game of the year I guess it would be ok too. Amazing the bs people will come up with.

Why do you only focus on losses?

Would it be more impressive if USC lost to ND and beat Oregon St.?

Or lose to Oregon St. and beat ND?

USC has beaten all the top teams on their schedule. (if they win out) USC will have more impressive wins than the LOSER of OSU/Michigan AND a tougher SOS than the LOSER of OSU/Michigan. Not even close.

I guess Sun Tzu is in favor of rewarding a LOSER a trip to the BCS NC. :142smilie

SCott- you think USC wins tonight? I sure do.

As long as USC doesn't turn the ball over (lose turnover battle), USC should win. They are playing good football on both sides of the ball. They are finally growing up and reaching their potential. USC has not lost since 2001 @home. CAL will give USC their best shot, like most teams do. USC will be ready.

I'm even with Sun Tzu on this one...

You are working your hardest to spin this for USC....

but it really looks to me like these are the best 2 teams and you'll see THESE SAME 2 TEAMS in the NC game.....

I really think that will be the case.. this game is an ESPN Instant Classic....

Have fun in the Rose Bowl...it doesn't matter what USC does anymore......

I dont think these are the two best teams...

Ohio State is dominating this game without the turnovers...its time to let someone else have a chance.

NOPE!

WE DO NOT REWARD LOSERS A TRIP TO THE BCS NC!

The LOSER in this game will drop in the computers. USC will increase their status in the computers. (if they win out)

Closing your season with wins over CAL and ND, then have wins against Arkansas (tops in SEC), Nebraska, Oregon, and UCLA will easily put USC in the BCS NC.

The question is, CAN USC win out.

USC controls their own destiny.

If OSU plays like this against USC, they would probably be down double digits. 2 unforced turnovers? Add another INT?

im all for usc in the title game, but the oregon-cal-nd-ucla final month isnt as daunting as it originally appeared. no contender in the race has an easier 'rival' than usc to close the season. and oregon is getting totally exposed now. usc needs to win impressively tonight and next week to sell people on their worthiness.
