Ok. Just wanted your take on what a re-match would do.
I think a rematch gives the winner of "Game 2" the title. That winner has to get the Coach's Poll and would more than likely also get the AP.

I'm just saying that in "reality", if 2 unbeaten teams in the same conf. play against each other in their last 2 games and split....yeah.

This isn't boxing where you get to be Champ until beaten and then someone else gets to be champ. There's a beginning and end to this season....

I am not sure if I was watching the same game as everyone else, but to me Ohio State dominated the game...

And if you are +3 in turnovers, and still lose the game, you are definitely NOT the bettter team, and would only beat the other team in a rematch if you have 4 or more turnovers.

That is ridiculous. Michigan got dominated. Period. A rematch would mean nothing, except another OSU beatdown.

Because of the HYPE! Hell, I missed tailgating at USC/CAL to watch the game. 11-0 UM vs 11-0 OSU. Winner goes to BCS NC. AWESOME!

Too bad Ohio St. outclassed Michigan. I guess TV viewers should appreciate OSU keeping the game relatively close (being ahead 11pts late 4th) by turning it over to Michigan 3 times (2 being unforced turnovers).

If you don't care what I think, just ignore me!

Hey Scott4USC:

This weekend is USC's chance to show if they are really a better team than Michigan... they will have a common opponent after this weekend....

Michigan's Margin of Victory: 26
Michigan Road Team Adjust: 4
USC Home Team Adjust: 4

Total Spread 34

So, if USC beats ND by more than 34 points, yes, you will have sold me that USC is better than Michigan.

However, if they win by less than 34, or GASP, if they LOSE, then they certainly are not the team that Michigan is....

USC can settle this on the field..... same opponent - if USC is as good as you say they are, they should kill Notre Dame WORSE than Michigan did....

You probably don't have much to worry about, because if USC is as good as you say they are, I'm guessing they win by 75 :mj07:

you keep bringing up the TO's, they happen.....but you never say anything about the unforced errors on the side of mIchigan, but you certainly brought them up in the USC-Texas game last year, to spin in USC's favor..........go Sit on your finger and rotate.....

Sorry, USC already has accomplished a lot more than Michigan and USC still has ND and @UCLA on deck. USC just needs to win each game. Just like Ohio St. just needed to win vs Michigan. Michigan lost and you don't reward LOSERS a trip to the BCS NC game. :nono:

If USC beats ND, that means USC has beaten 8 BCS teams with winning records. If USC beats UCLA, that makes 9. :scared Poor Michigan only has beaten 3 BCS teams with winning records. :(

Is this true? USC "might" beat 3x as many BCS teams with winning records than mighty Michigan? :scared

USC just needs to beat ND, beat UCLA, and beat Ohio St. to win the National Championship. TOUGH but USC welcomes challenges.

That is why USC played @Arkansas, Nebraska and ND in OOC play. :scared

Michigan played Ball St., CMU, Vanderbilt and @ND in OOC play. :142smilie

Scott, I hate to tell you this, but most people already do......

I, however, enjoy the laughter you bring me each day with your posts.... while they are funny to read, your opinions certainly aren't taken seriously (at least by me - can't vouch for everybody)...

Keep on putting up the "USC is the best team ever" and "Michigan sucks, all they get is unforced turnovers" stuff.....

It is too funny....:mj07:

You definitely have a future in politics, with the way you can spin everything to your benefit, no matter if you are right or wrong...

I could care less if someone has me on ignore or not. In fact, I ENCOURAGE IT! But when you can't counter argue my FACTS, you lose. Often, those are the people that look for the ignore list button!

Because someone says Michigan is the 2nd best team in the country, we are suppose to believe them? NOT IF YOU ARE EDUCATED!

Michigan has 3 wins against BCS teams with a winning record. That makes them #2? Michigan is down 11pts with 5min. left in game despite being +3 turnovers? How come NOBODY can counter argue that? CRY AND PUT ME ON IGNORE LIST!

I enjoy shutting all these posters up! Forcing them to put me on ignore list.

That margin of victory argument is not the right one. Comparing total yards and yards per play is a lot more indicitive of the game.

A team can have 4 90 yard drives and fumble four times on the 2 yard line...0 points. Even though they were dominating the game.
