EBAY - Warning; 3rd party access allowed! v.check your account

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyone with an account on eBay should check this out! Something called waymobile.com had set themselves up as 3rd party on my account without my permission!

Others I have heard about are:

* Andale
* Bonfire Media LLC
* Infopia
* Auctionhouse
* ChannelAdvisor
* AuctionWorks
* Zoovy
(too many others to list now)

Odds are, there's one on yours.

Go to My Account -> Preferences -> General Preferences -> Third Party Authorizations, then select any unauthorized sellers there and click "Revoke Authorization"

ebay and paypal get so hacked all the time. why can't they figure something out to prevent this?? My wife gets an email at least every other week saying the account will be suspended so she needs to click a certain link, etc.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
Most all these are all seller's checkout services you "authorized" when you used them to buy something.

it doesn't mean they can hijack your account.

some of these seller's checkout services will pass your info to others too.

if you are curious about whom these above companies are---just paste it to google, add ".com" to end of it, and click search.

They are pretty much harmless, but doesn't hurt to delete them.
