Even if you win (after that last play, I doubt it), you will not be able to pass Michigan....

They look like they have all year - another pretender, just like USC

MICHIGAN VS. OHIO STATE - NC

The way it should have been all along...

You heard it here first!

I really think FLA needs to win convincingly to be able to make a case.. .by 17 or so I would guess...

Otherwise, they won't be able to make up the ground...

They better turn it on soon...because right now they do not look like a very well prepared, talented team...

Remember, Arkansas looked terrible last week and everyone was blasting them as being bad because all they could do is run... Now their stud running back is hurt and they are STILL beating FLA...

I'm surprised.. I have cash on FLA - but what are you gonna do?

WOW anyone catch that fumble in the endzone?

Can you guys believe that. He will be off the team if they lose this game because of that.

Not so fast, my friend.

Again it is ridiculous. Whether or not UF makes this a 3 or 17 point win may determine if Michigan gets a chance to be national champs. The only sport that does it this way.

Complete bullshit

What's complete bullshit is this SEC political propaganda machine called CBS sports.

You are right, it isn't fair.... but human polls have always been influenced by margin of victory.

And they probably should be. If you dominate a team by 30, compared to coming from behind to win a game by 3 - well, it says different things about your footballl team.

All this really tells us, is that we really need a playoff. I'd rather argue about who is #9 (assuming a 8 team playoff), rather than who is #2....

Really?

I guess you have to have spin when you don't have a system.

Here's an example. Peyton Manning probably would carve up San Diego's secondary based on what he did against Tennessee, so the Colts should play Chicago in the Super Bowl

Give me a ****ing break.

Huh? Was this directed at me? If so I don't understand....

All I was saying that if you beat a team by 30 versus beating that same team by 3 - you dominated them, versus just being able to beat them...

Maybe your post was directed somewhere else, cuz I don't understand your point.

You're right Mags. Unfortunately, Florida and Michigan will be on the edge of their seats waiting for computers. Can I just play a game of Madden '07 to determine this?

It's very simple... a team that does not win it's conference championship should not play for the national championship. Michigan, while a great team, did not win it's conference. Florida did. End of discussion. Florida had the toughest schedule in the nation as far as the winning percentage of all their opponents .643.

Michigan only beat 3 BCS teams ALL YEAR with winning records. One of those teams was WISCONSIN. Don't think they deserve a trip to the BCS NC game. That would be rewarding a LOSER. Send Florida.

Yea

Yea

but FL wouldn't have won their conference without the advantage of a conference championship game.

Which is an unfair advantage for the SEC over the BIG 10.

Plus having a game scheduled for later in the year.

Most of the scheduling is done for TV. When a team loses, or when they last played, should have no bearing on who plays in the NC.

It should be the better team of FLA and Michigan.

Strong cases can be made for both teams. I just feel Michigan is more deserving.

Well that one win over wisconsin happens to be their only loss of the year. i wouldn't discount it as being tainted at all, and actually give mich. bonus points for that win.

A Wisconsin team, currently ranked #7 in the BCS AND RISING!

A HUGE WIN FOR THE MICHIGAN PROGRAM!

I don't think FLA has beaten such a highly ranked team this year, nor has their loss been to a team ranked as high as Ohio State.

THOSE ARE THE FACTS.

(Excuse my igorance - did FLA play and beat LSU this year? If so, I take back my statement about beating a highly ranked team).

However, if they didn't play LSU, how in the world can they be considered SEC Champs?
