I just feel Michigan is more deserving.

With only 3 wins against BCS teams with winning records? WOW! You are easy to please. Maybe Ohio St. will turn it over 4 times against Michigan in a rematch to make it fair.

A Wisconsin team, currently ranked #7 in the BCS AND RISING!

A HUGE WIN FOR THE MICHIGAN PROGRAM!

I don't think FLA has beaten such a highly ranked team this year, nor has their loss been to a team ranked as high as Ohio State.

THOSE ARE THE FACTS.

Go research your stats, then pull your foot out of your mouth....

As an osu fan i think i'd rather play fla, cause its gonna be hard to beat a very good team two games in a row, and i tend to believe mich. might be better than fla. However i think fla deserves the right to go, because all things being fairly equal, mich had their chance already. As the lady at the bmv says "next"

but FL wouldn't have won their conference without the advantage of a conference championship game.

Which is an unfair advantage for the SEC over the BIG 10.

Plus having a game scheduled for later in the year.

Most of the scheduling is done for TV. When a team loses, or when they last played, should have no bearing on who plays in the NC.

It should be the better team of FLA and Michigan.

Strong cases can be made for both teams. I just feel Michigan is more deserving.

Give me a break. First off, Florida and Arkansas tied for the best record in the conference this year at 7-1... so your comment about them not winning the championship without the title game is an uneducated comment. They've been playing the SEC Championship game since 1992. The only people you can blame are the folks in the Big-10 office. They could have a conference championship game if they would get one more team to join. The ACC has a championship game, the Big 12 has one, hell the MAC and Conference USA have one. Quit your whining. Scheduling is also done by the individual schools, so you only have your own athletic department to blame for that. And I agree, it should be the better of the two teams and it's Florida, not Michigan.

I'm not a Michigan fan - just a fan of having the best 2 teams.

I can't get that SC-FLA game out of my head. What a horrible game - but I guess one of the 2 teams had to win.

And the Ohio State-Michigan game is scheduled by the conference - and is such a huge TV draw that it will NEVER be moved from the last week of the season. Too many people look forward to that game. The only SEC game that would be similiar to that would be the "Cocktail party game".....

Can you get the Ball St. victory (8 pts) out of your head? Your arguments in this thread have been poor at best. Move along.

Georgia W
Vandy W
South Carolina W

Honestly, can anyone say Mich. has had a harder schedule.
And can you justify a rematch when you already lost to the potential opponent in the Champ. game a few weeks ago?

Send Florida. If they dont go, thats the last straw for me with the Bull Chit Series.
I mean come on...

Again, you HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT! The Ohio State/Michigan game has been the season ending game for both teams forever! The only thing the tv people can control is what time kickoff is. I can't get the Florida/UT or UGA or LSU or Arkansas or Alabama game out of my head. Not to mention South Carolina game was a HUGE game for the Cocks. Spurrier returning to the Swamp to take on the reptiles. C'mon man, don't you know ANYTHING about college football?

According to Danielson's card:

1) a UM three TD victory over Vanderbilt is a PUSH with a one TD Florida win ver Vandy

2) A 2 TD UM win over Iowa is a PUSH with a Florida 1 point win over South Carolina in which Florida needed a blocked FG and extra point to win

Listen Rolltide - you are being a knob. You made exactly my point - it is not Michigan's fault that the last game of the season is always against Ohio State. That was exactly my point.

And the SC game can be a big game for them - sure - but they weren't a good team this year. So even if a game is "big" for a bad team, it shouldn't matter. If you don't have the talent, you don't win.

FLA had a lot of ugly wins - and 2 quality ones - AR and LSU. 1 loss - to a middle teens ranked Auburn team.

Michigan had only 2 quality wins - Wisky and Notre Dame. But their loss was to the best team in the country on the road.

I can't help that the best 2 teams are from the same conference this year.

Don't worry

Don't worry

CWOOD.... if they truly want the best 2 teams, then Michigan is in.

If it is about money and a better TV draw (due to having more regional interest by not having 2 big ten teams in it), then it will be Florida.

Ooops - you'd better worry, because money will drive the decision, I'm sure.

Mags,

Wait a second. If you can't get the South Carolina win out of your head, what about Ball State?

You Michigan fans kill me. You don't have an answer for NOT WINNING YOUR DAMN CONFERENCE so you have to poke holes in Florida's schedule and make other excuses. Money will make the decision, that's the bottom line. I hope it's Florida. I don't want to see a rematch, simple as that.

Its about neither Mags. Its now in the hands of voters who have watched less football than 95% of this board.

UM is a better team than Florida. I don't need a conference championship or computers to tell me so. Just two eyes and a brain.

The rules say nothing about winning your conference. The rules of this system say "be one of the best two teams". Michigan clearly is. Whether they get to Glendale or not, who knows.

If they go, I'll be happy, but in the end it will cost me $$$$ because I will lose two sure winners in OSU minus vs UF and UM minus vs USC.
