I know brewers7 from other forums and I Instant Message him occasionally and he is not a tout.

He sells an NBA database.

Is that a crime?

He had a forum on that site and shut it down. I asked him why and he said the person who owns the site is a friend of his and asked him to. he didn't want to run the forum, but did it for a year as a favor and shut it down.

His only affiliation with the site now that the forum is shut down is that he sells his database there.

If he was a "tout" then why is he posting write-ups and previews for free on oher forums? He told me 18 months ago that he enjoys sharing his knowledge and I believe him anyway, but hey, the world is so jaded nowadays, so maybe people who are jealous of him just look for any way to bring him down because they know they cannot touch him as a NBA handicapper.

Brew told me a few weeks back he got invited to post at seevral private forums in europe and is doing so i guess.

If selling NBA databases makes him a tout, then so be it, that is your defintion, I spose.

But I have heard several people say Brew is the best NBA capper on the internet, so I guess I'll just have to follow him at other forums.

This isn't rocket science. I'm sure if Mr Brewer is open to the idea, he can throw Jack a # for the ad, and he can post a link to his database. Hell. He could give the info out for free through the holidays. I'm sure it's so solid, all will begin to pay for it with all the money they win through Jan 2nd.

agree. There is also extreme tolerance here for many things, just not spammers, scammers, ones looking for free advertising, and those selling "info" or picks. My hunting forum I like to go to, they just delete threads (like the video with the 3 guys peeing) that shouldn't be deleted. This is moderated much better. Nothing to hide, just look at the dumpster.

a high % of these guys do what your talking about no doubt..but theirs also the guys out there that actually spend time capping games and give picks that they actually think are going to win..chit,if i had the time i would run a service myself ,and it would be legit.if im hitting 70 % on the year id still run a service and use your money to try and make my millions .no such thing as a lock everybody knows this.paying for info is alright.im not recomending to pay for picks ,im just telling you their are some legit services out there.

Moe there are a lot of guys that work hard at this but these guys (who got burnt)have it in there minds that they are all scam artist. I came to this conclusion as well AR. That is why I now ignore sponge, and unlike the occasional curiosity I feel by taking Scott off my ignore list for a second and putting it back on I have yet to have an urge to read what this 15 year old has to say.

Sponge and Scott make this forum almost unreadable when they are in it, and I dont get why jack doesnt ban them both, but I can only thank Jack for giving us the option to ignore members.
