Recently Marines in Iraq wrote to Starbucks because they wanted to let them know how much they liked their coffees and to request that they send some of it to the troops there.

Starbucks replied, telling the Marines thank you for their support of their business, but that Starbucks does not support the war, nor anyone in it, and that they would not send the troops their brand of
coffee. So as not to offend Starbucks, maybe we should not support them by buying any of their products!

As a war vet writing to fellow patriots, I feel we should get this out in the open. I know this war might not be very popular with some folks, but that doesn't mean we don't support the boys on the ground fighting street-to-street and house-to-house for what they and I believe is right.

If you feel the same as I do then pass this along, or you can discard it and no one will never know. Thanks very much for your support. I know you'll all be there again when I deploy once more."Semper Fidelis." Sgt Howard C. Wright 1st Force Recon Co 1st Plt PLT

You're about as gullible as Ctownguy and Manson. I'd go to Snopes, but it's just too obvious.

On my way to get a venti triple egg nog latte right now.

you won't be drinking it any more because you are out of coupons.
that's exactly true. i like normal black coffee but i did get some freebie frappichinos when the coupons came out and i NEVER use coupons either. weird way that coupon made me act

i guess i mainly did it for the wife and kids because no way i'm spending 25-30 bucks for that crap (i ani't a cheap fuk either) and it made them happy. i haven't been back since.

That shit has as many calories and fat as a Dairy Queen milkshake. Never touch the shit. Just give me hot, black coffee. Their damn coffee is not worth a damn either.

Boy I would have to look into this a bit more. This is like business suicide. I can't believe a business would say something like this. I never was in a Starbucks but I would never go after hearing something like this. I have to give them the benefit of the doubt and find out a little more about this before crucifying them. The last thing anyone should do is have any type of venom for the troops. They are not the reason on why they are there. If this is true and they try to retract from the statement nobody should buy their excuse. You see guys like Mel Gibson and Kramer trying to save their careers but this is the lowest anyone can go. It is really a disgrace.

I saw a trucker order a Dull-Chay Capp-a-Cheen-o (Dolce Cappaccino) once - Made my week.

I love their specialty drinks, but I hate how everyone who makes the drinks has to correct you all the time. I always order a latte with an extra shot of espresso and then they always say "Do you mean a triple?" And everytime I order a triple, they ask "Do you mean with an extra shot?" - Awful way to start the day.

About a month ago the starbucks near my house was asking for donations for troops, and there was an option to buy coffee to send them. There was a UPS truck there every evening sending stuff out.

Those kids out there didn't decide to start the war they are just protecting all of us.:bigun: :bigun:   I still think it was the right move but we have to stop doing shit half ass.:nono: Give them everything they need to get the job done. If you don't support people fighting for this country you our an ass!!!!!!:nono: :nono: I don't care if you like the war or not . We backed off in Korea and look what we have now. In 1980 we should have went into Iran but Carter was a pussy and I was 18 I would have went to fight that fight. I would not have like it but to protect our freedom I would have gone in a heart beat. I HAVE THE UP MOST RESPECT FOR ANYONE WHO HELPS PROTECT THIS COUNTRY AND I THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!
