I had LSU -8.5 for the game bigger than I should have. Not comfortable with it, so I went with a full hedge at ND +3.5. A 10-point LSU win would be pretty damn sweet!
i did the exact same thing. same lines and all.

Time of possession is a bit skewed due to LSU's offense scoring fairly quickly, IMO.
I still think ND is going to wear down in the 2nd.

i cant see how anyone can see it any differently. Ndame is painful to watch and score. LSu just makes it easy. this might turn into the blowout it should be. ND has one receiver and a coach who refuses to blitz so he lets his seven terrible defensive backs run around like they know how to play. ND can run but the coach wont stay with it. The coach on LSU isnt doing anything and if it was Pete Carrol this game would be done already.

Sponge,

Pete Carroll had the benefit of Gomer Pyle on the opposite:mj07: sideline. Somebody finally told Lloyd Carr today that USC was blitzing every play.

I agree with you 100%.
Weiss looks like he's afraid to blitz and get burned by the speed of LSU.

Of course, if LSU keeps turning it over, none of this will mean shit. :142smilie

Well, some good points Sponge, but I think Weis opens it up with play action and screens, and uses LSU speed against them...........

ND +4 5units!

Over smaller..........

Franky

Franky i hope ND at least covers but im not sure they have the players to open it up. He needs to keep it on the ground and use this tight end i keep hearing about. The number five kid is just useless. Quinn has the time but i think his receivers get no seperation. His passes look terrible too but he should keep him short. And nothing to the sidelines because this looks like a pick at any moment.

Got i have watched this lsu quarterback five times. If you blitz him he makes bad mistakes. they did once and they got him to fumble. If you let him sit back there all day like weiss does he will find someone. If he can find someone with seven defenbsive backs then hell let him find them with four and three guys in his face. And for gods sake dont blitz one guy
