I can't see Grossman beating Manning...Colts will take away the run...and let loose that pass Rush when Colts get up in the game...
I'm sure Indy is overvalued. Everyone I talked to this week said the AFC representative will smoke the NFC representative in the Super Bowl. The oddsmakers are fully aware of this public perception.
at first thought i tend to agree with you....this line could go up to 10...then i'll make a play on the rushing dog...
Grossman doesnt have to beat Manning........its a team game......you know, 11 players
load up on the colts like everyone loaded up on the saints...
i was going to grab the bears now but then i thought about it.......let espn take over and talk up manning and the colts.....how they took down the almighty Pats and Manning this and that......Bears will be left out of the media like they were this week......it does wonders for a defense that likes to play with a chip on their shoulders
at first glance this game reminds me of the giants/bills superbowl matchup.....
buffalo was favored by 7 also & had a very explosive offense with a questionable defense.....
i took the dog then & may do it again.
I already posted in ar182's thread i am taking the Bears. I just see alot of value in getting a full TD. I got a feeling the line comes down. I might even play an alternative line at Bears +3.5:SIB
It's the Bears defense against Colts offense which I will give maybe a slight advantage to Colt's offense. If the Bear's defense shows up that played today its a wash. Now if Rex doesn't have any turnovers I give Bears offense with their running game the advantage. Special teams Bears have big advantage in returns and coverage with Colts better Fg kicker.
I like the Bears to win outright and will spread some on the money line.

i took a quick tour of other forums & everybody is predicting a colt blowout....i think this is an indication of what the majority of bettors think also.....but of course i could be wrong.
Oh, I don't doubt that for one second. The majority will predict a blowout by the Colts. This thread already has me thinking Bears plus the points and Bears moneyline.

i once heard the books take a bath on line in SB, any truth to that ... line moved in cincy/sf II a few points, other than that not sure how many other times ... and REX isnt TROY, but i understand why youd be tempted to take the pts ... I think colts win 27-17 or so ...

Got AFC team -6 before the playoffs started, hoping the line goes up, up and up and will go for the middle. Good luck to all.
AR182- i hope your right and it goes up and most of the consensus is Colts bets at 70%.
My God the Ravens won a SuperBowl and as bad as Rex looks sometimes( but also can look like a champ) I would take him over Dilfer anytime. Getting a TD is crazy. The Colts if they do get a lead are pretty conservative. I think special teams play a big part. Maybe take a couple fliers on a special team TD.

As a fan, I want the Bears to kick Indy's a$$. From a betting standpoint, I'll take the Bears and any points. Either way.....GO BEARS
