With a 4 year old son, Mc Donalds is a weekly visit for me ( happy meal) , but let me tell you.... Just had Long John Slivers tonight for the first time in about 10 years and No question has to be worse on the heart. Besides the coleslaw, everything is Fried! Fish, Chicken, shrimp, fries, hush puppies and some fired shit that was just sprinkled all over my combination platter in between! Tasted OK, but I'm sure I'm just one step closer to a stroke!

It was paid for by the company, but next time I'm going to go get McDonalds, BK or Taco Bell and spend my own money. It's worth it if Free Applebees is the alternative.

Used to love the stuff. Worked at McDonald's for 2 years in high school and the Red Barn for 2 years. That was 30 years ago. I can say now I haven't had any fast food in over 2 years and don't miss it at all. I'm not a health nut but I can do without all the calories and fat now that I'm older.

I love fast food, but try to stay away from it as much as I can.

Try not eating any fast food for a whole month. Even just a couple weeks.

Then go to McDonalds and eat a meal. It will literally kill your stomach. Its like a vegetarian eating meat. Amazing how much fat/grease they put in every meal.
