this morning when i woke up...

The only part I can remember is...for witch it stands.

That's what I always thought it was growing up, and I stand by my youthful thoughts.

yes i did...every morning when i wake up i pledge allegiance to my wife.....& if she thinks that i'm sincere i sometimes get lucky...

I have a friend who teaches American History in a public school. Coupla' years ago, he told me their textbook had more info on Marilyn Monroe than Dwight Eisenhower.

Having been exposed to several history texts in my days, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that your friend is lying. Education these days certainly isn't perfect, but that statement is laughable.
