Have tickets to the 1st round at Rupp on Thursday for the evening session. Have a few questions

1. Anyone know of the times of the games yet?
2. Where are some good bars to hit before the night games and after the night games?
3. Any other input is appreciated

Redmons (if you like country music, very fun) Nicholsons (Cigar bar), McCarthey's Pub (irish bar), Cheapsides, Blue Moon Saloon, Charlie Browns (mellow place to hang out), Rincons (Two for 1 margaritas Thursday nights), Rosebud

Been at least a year since I was bar hopping in Lex Vegas, not sure if all these bars are still around... Have fun! Think bars close at 2am...

Thanks guys, the Irish bar sounds like a winner. Either that or a sports bar. Not into the live music or huge crowds. Want to drink alot of beer and watch some ball.

Skipper, McCartheys usually draws a crowd, if i remember, not too many tvs though. If your cabbin it, there is a BW3 close, also not too far away from downtown is Trumps (best sports bar bet, many big screens). If weather is good Cheapsides is a nice place to chill and drink a few.

what are the chances of getting tickets from scalpers on game day?

if maryland plays on sunday and most likely they will i just might head out saturday night.
