Gym rat
I started a thread about this some time ago. I had a horrible stain on my carpet (brand new) from staining a picture frame, plus a few spots where the dog had thrown up that were slightly discolored. This guy comes to the door saying he will shampoo a room for free blah blah blah.So I said hey come see if you can get this stain out. Absolutely he says, and he DOES! Now, I had Stanley Steamer and like 3 other people look at it and they said forget it, never coming out. Well I have to say, I am super impressed with this thing. The Biatch was REALLY happy. I rub the spot, it is completely dry, doesn't smell, anything.

So, I throw the kid a $50 and tell him thanks, but I am NOT buying one just like I told you when you came through the door. He goes through the let me call my boss thing. And I tell him before he calls you tell your boss he is NOT coming in my house no matter what. Well I hear this fawker arguing on the phone, and he has to come in and this and that. And when he gets there he literally tries to barge in my house! I threatened him with a golf club (6 iron I think). But can you imagine what these guys do to elderly people?

The kicker of the story is, the fawking stain re appears and WORSE 2 days later? Now WTF is that?

Here
bubba1,
I remember when I was 20 trying to start a awning business I just wanted someone to give me a chance.
So I let them in because the guy showing the vacuum was in his early 20's. The so called boss with him was in his late 20's or early 30's. I Knew what I was in for but nobody is going to sell me something I don't want. The kid showing the machine wasn't pushy at all he was a nice kid, young black kid that just came back from Iraq. We had a nice talk & he was happy just to get to show the machine. The shit started like you said when the other guy came in he had two other guys in the neighbor showing machines and was back a forth. Don't know why they do that the machine is impressive and can sell itself. We have the Dyson ball & I did get him to admit that it was the next best thing to a Kirby. I was just looking for another vacuum so the wife don't have to lug it up & down the steps. Ebay has some good deals on them if I want to go through with it.

Agent,
Try cleaning it with shaving cream.

thanks for the help guys,
Vinnie

Come on ppl, here in SoCal there are so many illegal alien house cleaners, simply pay them $100 a month for a twice a week cleaning. nor need to buy all that vaccuum, cleaners brooms and nonsense. And yes they do windows.

some even cook up meals and have them ready for ya when u get home.:00hour

I can't believe this thread is on a sports gambling forum.

What's worse is I opened it.

What's even worse is I can actually respond to it.

My wife has a Dyson, thing works great, I'm honestly shocked at the shit it picks up, go figure.

I have to run now, I got tons of dresses to sew for my dolls.:SIB

100 a month for twice a week? BARGAIN

we pay 60 a week for one time a week cleaning. but she's hot so i never bargained with her. she doesn't even clean that well and i had to bail her boyfriend out of jail last year. he did pay me back. and shockingly the assault charges were dropped. maybe i should rethink things.

and 1k for a vacuum cleaner. you guys are nuts. hire a maid.

--Weird thing just last week Kirby guy came and pulled same routine as one did on agent. Told him up front--I wasn't going to buy one but would pay him to shampoo a room as was getting time for spring shampooing any way. Big miskake as I knew when he said he wouldn't take anything to shampoo room--I was in for hard sales pitch.
After he was almost done I gave him $20 (I am cheap compared to agent) he gets call (from his closer) and he arrives. Guy was originaly asking $1,200 and closer says --Look ifI drop price to $1,000 and show you how much money you'll save will you buy--I told him buying and saving is an Oxymoron--but lets hear it. He asked how much my vac cost and how long they last--I said bout a $100 and I am on my 2nd since buying house in 1992.
--then he ask how much to have carpets shampooed once a year--I tell him I only have main 2 rooms with traffic shampooed @ $50.

He asked if I was aware this vacumn would last 30 years and gets his calc out to proceed to tell me how much I'd "save". Told him to stop--and he asked why--I told him if my vac only lasted 5 years I could put his $1000 in the bank and draw $50 a year @ 5% and could buy new vac every 5 years plus pay to have carpet shampooed--with his deal at end of 30 years all I'd have is worn out vac
-my way I'd still be buying new vac in 30 years and still have my $1000--- The youngster looked perplexed and the closer was out the door :)
