So I qualified for the Sunday Million on Stars today through a FPP satellite...

Do I play in the tournament? OR

Do I take the $1050 credit to play in multiple tournaments?

I just want to see what everyone else would do in this situation so I can make a decision.

I would take the credit personally, but $1050 is a lot of cash to me and I don't have enough faith in my game to cash in a tourney that big.

It is a lot of cash to me too, but I can't cash the credit. It is a tournament credit, thus it has to be spent on other tournaments. I could buy a lot of $20 and $50 tourneys with it...

I trade my fpps in for cash in their store. i never use them for tournaments because i don't like them.

i could be wrong and you might want to check into this, but if you don't play you only get T$, not real money. People will buy this from you for percentages and there are sites to do this, but you don't get cash.

actually it looks like you want to play multiple tournaments which might suit you better.

personally if you are a tournament player, play in the million. but if 1k is a lot to you then just trade it to cash for less or play a bunch of 100 tourneys

Yeah, that's what I mean. Earn some cashes and a final table or two out of all those smaller tourneys, you should be able to come out with some decent cash for your efforts.

actually if you want the cash, it looks like the going rate is 955 for your 1050. kinda steep if you are just gonna play more tourneys anyway its not worth it, but if you want the cash thats the going rate.

Personally I would play the million tourney, but if its a lot to you would could play $20 to 50 tourneys for a week with that amount of money.

If u r interested in transferring that to cash in a trade through paypal or another poker site, I know a forum where u can do that with other people, but of course it is at ur own risk. If u want me ask jack for my email, and I will get it to u.

GL whatever u do!

i'm totally confused.

i'll still buy them from you and pay by paypal.

OR, unregister and take your money and play limits you're comfortable with.

PokerStars was the first card room to offer a $1 Million Guaranteed no- limit hold'em tournament every week. Each Sunday, the event gets better and better. First prize in this event is always more than $100,000.

Most weeks, the buy-in to the event is $215. The last week of every month, the buy-in is $530. Finally, four times a year, PokerStars offers a $1,050 event for the best of the best. Every week, somebody turns one of those buy-ins into enough money to buy a house. Even better, PokerStars offers satellites to the Sunday Million so you can get into the big event for just a few bucks.

Jack,

What you want to give me for my ticket? Yes it is the $1050 buy in that I qualified for. I realized that yes I am a good poker player, but not good enough and don't have the bank roll these guys do. This is a lot of money to me. Anyway one of my best friends a pro and I told him I would sell the ticket, but I wanted cash in hand. Stars won't let me sell the ticket for less than 750 or something like that, so I am unsure how this is going to work.

I hate to use some transfer site...if I do what should I use?

Jack,

If you want this ticket I think my buddy is bailing... don't register for the tourney yet, contact me first. I can transfer the money to your account BUT it has to be like this...

We both have to go requests, trade t$/w$, then you put buy and I will put sell... we have to enter all the info correctly.

My stars name is glferboy21
I am transfering you $1050
Price: $1000

You will HAVE to send me at least like 800 on stars for it, I will then send it back to you, and we can do paypal. Tell me if this works for you, and I will let you know if he backs out

Stars won't let me do it for anything less than like $800, it isn't me it is stars.

But anyway my friend had someone transfer money to him, so he bought it from me. Sorry about that, but I wanted to let you know if he didn't
