OAKLAND (Haren) +110 over OAKLAND (Bedard)
The Orioles had a terrific weekend here at Camden
Yards, beating up the Blue Jays in a three game
sweep and solidifying their grasp on 2nd place
in the AL East. What we have tonight, however,
is a classic letdown situation, and Oakland is the
perfect team to take advantage. Danny Haren is
pitching as well as anyone in the league (1.44
ERA in four starts), while Eric Bedard still has
not hit his stride (5.40). The Athletics took 4
of 6 head to head matchups in 2006 (+$120)
and are a much better team overall. We'll grab
the short underdog price in this one.
