according to the nfl network....pending passing a physical, moss will be traded to the pats for a 4th round pick....

his contract will be reworked & was warned by the pats mgt. that he will be cut if he steps out of line for any reason....

if everything works out this is another great move by the pats....

Thisa news you just heard. In boston sunday herald says trade fell thru as of last nite?

If things have changed since then,Moss is a gamble IMO.

Hopefully it works out.

the nfl network is presently reporting this & that moss is in the boston area talking to the pats mgt...i also think it's a gamble, but the pats can afford to make this gamble.

ESPN is reporting it... I think this is a great move for NE. Coach B will NOT let him be a distraction he will cut him if he starts to act up...

thinking about it further...i also think this is a good move by the raiders....a team that's bringing in a young coach, like the raiders have to cut the players who are cancers to their teams.

ESPN says the pats went down to Florida to visit moss last week and verifyed a 40 yard dash in the 4.2 range.

All things considered, a good trade for both teams. I think it will be a complementary thing for the Pats, as he will be a good red zone threat for Brady. But I don't think Moss fits Brady's style that well. He won't go over the middle with any effort, and Brady kills people between defensive lanes over the middle.

Moss really had few options, this is a good one for him. For the Pats, he is a $3 million gamble worthy of a 4th round pick. Worst case? They cut him and avoid issues. Best case? They got a very good 4th round threat who can make a difference if he wants to.

For the Raiders...they got rid of an injury faking prima donna. Good move for them.

i think its a great move, especially for the pats. I think he might be the only coach who moss might respect enough to not be a dick.
We'll see.

Hope and eagle drives his claws into Moss and carries his boney ass to the cliffs for a snack

or a fat lady falls out of a plane on top of him.

He sucks and is "injured" all the time.

He missed his true calling in the NBA with the other lame asses looking for respect.
