yes, you can register in vegas before the tournies start. the saturday $1500 buyin tournies could fill up so you might want to register for those as early as possible because i wouldn't want to be an alternate.

i think they base their rankings on the higher buyin tournies only so mine is based on the one ME tournament. hell, ctownguy WON a wsop event ($1500 buyin) and wasn't even ranked by them.

oh, yeah, I'll be there. Should be for the two weeks of early July. Summer visit to my bro's in Maine will start around 18th, when my mom flies in--so have to leave LV (and be sober :com: ) sometime around then...
i'm definite for may 30 - june 6. if i am ahead and doing well the trip gets extended.

my plan so far:
wednesday night arrive and scope rio out and the cash games. probably drinks and early to bed.
thursday - register for Saturday's wsop $1500 NLHE event at Rio and probably some cash games.
friday - play the venetian $540 buyin NLHE deep stacks at noon. they start off with $10K in chips. (if they have early satellites for the wsop $5000 event starting at noon i'll try to win a seat by playing one or two STT and if i win a seat forget about venetian)
saturday - wsop $1500 NLHE at noon. 3 day event. day 1 play from noon until 2am if still alive.
sunday - if i get knocked out from saturday i am playing the venetian $1060 NLHE deep stacks at noon.
monday - wsop $1500 buyin LHE at noon. 3 day event like saturday's tourney.
tuesday - cash games and decide if i'm staying longer and playing the wednesday wsop $2000 NLHE and saturday wsop $1500 NLHE.
