I don't have any problem with most of what you suggest and I also like the idea of the winner being rewarded from something special from the loser's home state. However, I am not really interested in competing in a season long contest if there is not some cash at stake.
As far as the "real time betting", I don't see a problem with plays being posted at anytime up until five minutes before kickoff which can easily be verified. The forum clock is slightly off sometimes but that can be noted at times that it matters.
I assure you that I plan to wager on the plays that I post but I am not sure how account balances can be verified for the sake of declaring a winner. I am also not sure that you will be able to wager the amounts that I will be but I could be wrong about this.
I think that my suggestion of between five and ten plays per week is a good way for this thing to work with all plays counting the same for the sake of scorekeeping. Maybe we could make two plays a week to count double if you would like.
Let's keep it simple and toss a little coin in the pot to make it interesting.

I like your idea of putting A set amount in an account and whoever has the most at the end of some set time wins. That way one can wager on anything they want and would bring to the table all aspects of wagering ( like money management) This would show who the best gambler is but not who the best handicapper is. :SIB
Sponge's challenge was based on handicapping skills. It is easly to double up a couple of times in a contest when you are far behind.
Judge i just scanned this. We have a lot of time to hammer out the rules instead of one night. As Raymond can attest its been brutal weather wise around here the last three days with high humidity and i have been doing a lot of work around the house today. I haven't read the link you posted just yet but lets relax a bit and we will come up with something. I like to see a bunch of us get in it but if not no big deal. I have a ton of stuff outside to clean up and i don't think it will, but it might rain, I will get back to you later tonight. Judge i did read agents post and im not looking for a contest about insulting one another which i feel you will agree. Now we can come up with something. I will read your link later . Another post I read is Clems. Clem okay you don't like me I got it. Actually the last 50 post of yours, I got it then. Would you like to join up in this contest? Looks like an easy walk in the park for you since you think every thing i say is bizarre and utterly ridiculous. Come get an easy prize or just back up and leave your comments in the circular file were they belong. Man up cous.
