Very 1st hand last night I get AK, raise 3x, get 5 callers, flop comes a-k-7, so I bet $220, get 2 callers, turn is a q, so I bet $720 and guy goes all in, figured he had aq, but no he called all those raises with ten jack:scared

While typing I just got knocked out on second hand of tournament with a full boat, boy I am running good:mj07:

That is a bad bad beat, but I understand what the guy with middle pair is thinking. No Limit is all about putting pressure on your opponent, he probably put you on ak and figured if he raised all in that you would have to lay it down. Get em next timee.

Bad beat for sure but why did you play it so weird? If you're calling after that flop (looks like he hit a set) why not re-raise more preflop? You begged him to call.

Just sayin!

Agreed, not saying it was played bad, but you let too many guys in the hand... I would have made it 1k or so to go or more. than probably pot sized the flop or shoved making it look like I had nothing. Bcguy seems horrible so honestly, it may have been impossible to get away from this hand when he thinks his mid-pair is nuts.

i did want a call. after i bet the 2 dimes after the flop and he moved all in i thought he might have aces but i felt committed. when he showed A6 i was all pleased. i think he would have raised my bet preflop with pocket pair.

then the AQ vs my QQ. obviously he's going to call my small short stacked preflop raise but catch a 3 outter just after catching a 5 outter? why don't *I* catch those. whay am *I* always on the short end of the stick? and i am all the time.

it's so easy to analyze after the hand with unlimited amout of time rather than 15 seconds during the hand.

Isn't the goal of poker to get the other guy to committ all his chips when he has a worse hand than you?

Jack accomplished that with both hands - chalk this up to variance.

You just can't beat stupid.

'We' don't catch those because we rarely stuff it in with the worst of it, plain and simple. We're always getting sucked out on because we mostly have the best of it.
