I've got a friend who teases every week and loses every week. I've told him over and over not to tease, just not a good bet. It is exactly what its called, "tease".

hey if you push on 1 play out of a 3 team teaser, is it counted as a loss? I play with a local, and the website I use graded it as a loss....I've been looking through the rules on that site but does not mention it at all, but it does say :Nevada Gaming Rules apply to any rule or type of wager not covered by rules and regulations herein.

Does anyone know for certain what the rules are according to Las Vegas? thanks guys

RC: The local I used to use counted them as a loss.


Brent: At some point you have to realize that teasers are bad bets, so maybe that time is now. For what it's worth, when I used to lose every year, my betting arsenal consisted of teasers and favorites.

Fortunately I don't bet all that often. Usually it's two or four games on the weekends.

The last three weeks I've pushed.

It's more for fun than anything else.

every book differs. the good books count the whole wager as a push if there is a tie even if you have losers as the other part.

teasers can be profitable if you cross the 3 and the 7 otherwise you are better off picking it straight.

DBD....do you know how it works in Las Vegas?

I play with a local, and the website that I place my wagers on with him graded my teasers as a loss with Washington -2 pushing...lost a shitload on that one...

the thing is the rules are really vague and only says Nevada Gaming Rules apply to any rule or type of wager not covered by rules and regulations herein.

Thus I'm looking everywhere on what the rules are in Vegas...

This one was painful to watch. I rarely bet teasers but today for some reason for kicks I put
Wash -2.5 in two teasers, and of course watched them both painfully go down the drain.

I feel your pain.

It seems like some years (or at least some weeks) teasers will be reallly solid. I'd love to see some tracking/research on their performance. I wonder what the best week ever was...

Because I swear there have been weeks where almost every game would have been a winner on both sides.

When things line up right, they can be can't miss.
