multi--tabling low level nlhe, my flop seen percentage for each session is 18-24%.

Does that number sound about right, or does it matter if I'm winning?

thanks for any input. 6-8 tablles is what I play.

That % is actually just about right for 6-8 tables.

The ideal percentage would be around 16% if you were playing 1 table.

Where do you play? I haven't played onlien in awhile, but I used to play ALOT on PP, but basically now just bodog, pokerstars, full tilt

why would the % be higher for multi tables vs 1 table? i would think the opposite because you can play tighter with so many hands being dealt to you.

i always wondered what % is normal for a player that wins consistantly. i'm always in the 12-15% flops seen and sometimes as low as 9% when i'm running bad, which is most of the tiime.

You would think, but you're seeing more cards, more hands, etc...and you're more prone to play a few more hands that you typically wouldn't, therefore the slightly higher %.

sorry, but i totally disagree. you don't have the time to **** around with less than premium when you play 6-8 tables. why would you play hands that you typically wouldn't when you are getting so many more hands to choose from?

ended the session after I posted this with 1,100 hands and a flop seen percentage of 18%. I get way too bored playing 1 table or even 3 or 4. I rarely play a flop unless I raise it unless I'm in the blind. I surf the 'net or watch a movie while I'm playing all those tables. If I'm in position, I have a huge range of raising hands. If in early position, I have no problem throwing away stuff like q k or a j.

I play .50/$1 NL on stars and 8-10 tables at a time. You want to have a VPIP (volume put in pot) of around 17-21%. Anything lower and your playing nitty and anything higher and your being a bit too aggro. As far as a PRF (preflop raise), you want this to be very close to the VPIP.

For example... a 22 VPIP with an 8 PFR would be quite terrible and means your being too passive and just calling too much.

Running at a 19 VPIP and 16 PFR would be quite ideal and mean you are being aggressive.

In 6 max the biggest aspect is positioning, make sure your using it to your advantage.
