Anyone feeling sick after travelling?

after reading about this we are going to make sure that we bring plastic cups with us on any trip we take....
maybe it has more to do with the drinking & the uneven sleep than it does with the drinking glasses....
Wait, they have GLASSES at hotels? The classy places I stay in always have conveniently wrapped plastic cups on the sink? :shrug:

As having worked in that industry for years before I started my current company, I always love when people say this. Is it as pristine as your kitchen? No. But, for the most part, I feel that this statement is always slightly exaggerated.
If you have seen someone clean a toilet with a rubber glove then handle clean dishes for customers and you did not report, then you should be shot on the spot. When was the last time you witnessed someone in the kitchen go into the bathroom and get a used cloth to dry the dishes?
I am going one better.
Since the hotels are too cheap to clean the glasses properly.
Everytime we stay at a hotel I am going to steal the glasses, bring them home and wash them, or just dispose of them.
If enough people do that , maybe they will start doing their fawking job.

i ALWAYS wash them first but I'll make sure to do a much better job in the future or maybe not use them at all.
i'm always thinking about stuff like that and the thought of the filthy, diseased glasses never crossed my mind. not like the video showed anyway. ugh!

WTF are you guys using them for? Only thing I have EVER used a hotel glass for was to put water in the iron to iron my clothes

glasses? I usually check in with my support group of 6 in a brown paper bag. First stop the ice machine so I can chill the other five of them in the sink.
Another salesguy in our office used to be paranoid about the in-room coffee makers. He said, you never know what somebody might have poured in there besides water.
I got to have my coffee first thing in the morning so I always use it. But now I look inside first real close like. And once in a while I will even rinse it out a little.
