Like the Rose Bowl under Cie. Illinois can play a little defense and might be able to move the ball enough on the ground to keep the clock moving.

I have VT ranked # 5 and Kansas @ #8. I like how Kansas is given no shot at winning, and are being labeled as undeserving of a slot in the BCS. Think they'll be well-rested and motivated. Kansas is a good offensive team that played a horrible 1H against Mizzou and missed a couple of FGs to fall back by 2 scores. Maybe the bright lights of prime time got to them. They'll be btter prepared for the spotlight this time, and are coming in with nothing to lose and given no shot to win. All pressure is off now. Meanwhile, VT is overrated imo due to the low quality of the ACC this season. Even the impressive win at Clemson was misleading final score due to 3 defensive and special teams tds. When they stepped out of Blacksburg against a quality OOC foe, they were mauled by LSU. I like Kansas by TD+ :scared

You are probably solid with Hawaii because I am fully confident that we run over these guys with no problem whatsoever.

I see at least a 3 TD victory, so we will probably lose by at least 7 points.

good luck.

Thx gents.

I like the Bama over, and will likely play it. Problem is Applewhite is having SEVERE issues with Saban, which hurts my cause. I need Bama's O to be clicking in order to play an over. I HATE playing overs far more than I hate playing Favs.

According to wacko SEC message boards, problems between Saban and Major appear to exist. I don't think its a big deal since it happens all over the place. I am just not sure how it will affect productivity of the offense in a bowl game. Personally, I am thinking not much.

I'm likely gonna add Col over.

Ohio State's starting corner suspended for title game

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

NEAL C. LAURON | DISPATCH
Cornerback Donald Washington (20) ran an interception back for a touchdown during the Kent State game.
Ohio State starting cornerback Donald Washington and reserve corner Eugene Clifford have been suspended for the national championship game because of a violation of team rules, a source close to the team confirmed tonight.

There were no details on the nature of the violation, except that it is not a legal issue.

The loss of Washington is significant. The sophomore from Indianapolis has started every game this season and played well, twice being named the team's defensive player of the week.

He has 34 tackles, a sack and an interception returned 70 yards for a touchdown against Kent State.

In November, while discussing who has stood out on defense, center Jim Cordle called Washington ?the most underrated corner in the nation.?

His absence means redshirt freshman Chimdi Chekwa likely will start with Malcolm Jenkins at the corners. In the nickel defense, safety Jamario O'Neal now likely will get the nod.

Previously, Chekwa has played corner in nickel and Jenkins has shifted to safety. Andre Amos, Nick Patterson and Aaron Gant also could see more playing time.

Clifford, a freshman from Cincinnati, has played in four games and has eight tackles.

In March, while in high school, Clifford was cited for marijuana possession by Colerain Township police. He paid a $105 fine for the minor misdemeanor.

Because he had not enrolled at OSU, Clifford did not fall under the school's drug and alcohol policy. A university spokesman said, though, that because of the infraction, Clifford might be subject to more stringent testing.

Who wouldn't have severe issues w/that A-Hole? I think Applewhite would be a good hire for somebody. WV?
