I was being dumb and was forgetting that PI in college isn't a spot foul. I thought for sure Illinois would get a TD there. 3 isn't nearly as good. I still think SC blew it by laying down on that drive. Last drive of the 1h, you can't give them momentum like that. I think it will be a lot harder for SC to run away with this game now...

Juice needs to start running the ball up the middle....its there, especially with USC just pinning their ears back on the rush.....that third down, he could have just gone straight ahead and would have had a shot at the first down.

USC starts the second half with the ball. So Illini needs to make a D statement right out of the gates.

Take the goofy deflection away and maybe if Illini had taken advantage of either the takeaway they got or the bad punt snap, this game would be tighter.....feel like Illini has their legs, but think the hole they've dug is too deep a hole.

I expect USC to put a beat down on Illinois once the Illni have long stopped trying and there will be more dancing on the USC sideline and Herbstreit will say that Carrol lets that kind of stuff slide and that's why USC recruits so well

I laid off any second half action....got Illini and under for the game, so I'll stick with that and cheer for a whole lot of defense and punts this half.
