typical smarta$$ comment on this site nowadays :shrug: my g-d, it's amazing that ordering a hat online for a stranger isn't a top priority to get done 10 minutes after the game, I guess you can't win with most people on here so why bother trying to justify :shrug:

I was thinking the same thing here Jack. I think to me, it's all about character. I understand that NYSportsFan ended up paying, but its just gonna rub anyone the wrong way to wait that long to be paid on a bet....no matter how big or small. I'm sure if he would have won, he would have wanted his winnings sooner than later. We all would.

not betting anymore on here anyway, it was a ONE time thing for a dallas-giants game, have you heard from me since then regarding that :shrug: it's not like I'm AL and offering to make money bets and send checks, we bet on a hat 3 months ago yet you think it's a big deal i took a few weeks to send it....and I made a BET with a forum member, not BETS, which would sound like it's done all the time :shrug: unbelievable, but i dont expect anything less

As a gambler, I was stunned at the length of time it took you to get that out, that is all. Internet "wagers" are always suspect, and slow pay doesn't help.......THAT is kind of where this goes.

Maybe that's me as an older guy? Maybe that's how dad raised me? Maybe younger guys just don't give a shit???? I don't know.


But calling me, or anyone else the forum police, cheapens YOU even more.

YOU slow paid. You only had to say, "Yeah....my fuk up, sorry", and move on!

Ok, didn't see Jon say that, didnt even know you guys made a bet :shrug: sorry I didnt see every single post of whatever thread you're referring to......my point was, if the bet doesnt concern you, why comment I "slow payed" :shrug: never in a million yrs would I comment/care on your guys personal bet, so I didnt get why you or others did on mine :shrug: It wasnt an intentional slow pay, you guys read too much into it, but I guess I was wrong to take a few weeks to send a $25 hat, if it bothers people that much....few people here know me in REAL life, and one even stated that "mike would not stiff on the bet" but obviously people believe what they feel like believing
