Long Live Rock!!

I know we've gone off topic, but the rock talk was great, much more lively than the political stuff, which often devolves into blind talking points and one sided research "proof."

Do we dare put Led Zepelin into the mix with the Stones and Who? Physical Graffiti is bombastic rock combined with artful rock at its finest. Love Kasmir. Are their any bands out there today that is close to adhering to the rock principles or any of these?

never could get into led zeppelin(sp ?) for whatever reason...

2 other groups that i really liked in the "old" days were the doors (loved morrison hotel) & the eagles (loved hotel california)....

but a group that i really liked & probably comprised 2 of the greatest musicians ever were cream...with clapton on guitar & ginger baker on drums....couldn't get better than that...

.....the Dems lookin' at a Free For All after the Granite State has spoken. Neither leader has a stranglehold on the nomination after NH, but someone is lookin' again like Little Miss Dangerous after surviving the 21 pt swing her numbers did in 5 days:mj16: The Big O can still do the wango tango as he seems to have lost no impetus heading into the SC primary, where he should pound that gal. No MI primary for the big boppers here, which I would think helps HC. No more is Edwards the Great White Buffalo(reachin' into the Dukes.....remember House of Lg Sizes playing this cover redsfann?)after his weak showing at the polls.

....come alone and drive it home, help me I do declare.....

The GOP must just be dazed & confused about the next 3 wks.....Huckleberry still the best orator, and he's headin' back to the bible belt, where he's sure to garner a whole lotta love. Romney takin' his snake oil show back to the home turf, where, behind the legacy of the old man, he has a shot to leave the field trampled underfoot. Daddy Mac has some mo-mo, but can he keep it going, or will his immigrant song play to poor reception in MI (blue-collar country) & the South?? Rudy-Kazootie has back-loaded his efforts to Feb. 5........is this Achille's Last Stand? RP keeps loppin' off his 10%, and with his shockingly effective $$$-machine, I expect he will ramble on.... As far as old Freddy, only one song he should be singin'......Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You.

......its the post hoc, ergo propter hoc argument, but that little Regis & Kelly moment for Hillary just may have been Team Clinton's NH two-minute drill. If I have to hear "Comeback Kid/Gal" again, man I swear :mj02: .....

Is crying enough to make her seem human? Does she have to cry before every vote now? Was it the debate that vaulted her back on top last nite?
