I had a good friend that was going to do this with his house several years ago. It's a much better idea now that the internet is used by so many people.

His house was the house that the team stayed in in the movie A League of Their Own.

The trick is also having that charity as the beneficiary of the amount over what you could normally expect.

I think I will be buying one.

Is there a limit to the number of tickets sold? That would be a big key. They mention that a minimum of 5,000 is necessary, but is there a max?

My friend was going to sell 1,000 tickets at $1,000 each for a house worth a little less than $1M. Not perfect odds but pretty good.
