Is Gasol really this bad? He's looked like total garbage on both offense and defense entire series.

He is not only soft, but has missed several passes that hit him right in the hands. Can't finish layups/dunks at point blank range. Other than wide open cuts, the guy is absolutely worthless.

KG isnt exactly a good match up for him, he's a good player but Garnett is just TOO MUCH for him on both ends!!!

Exactly. Garnett is a freak of steength and quickness. Might actually be the worst matchup in the league for Gasol.

Dude, I have no problem with Boston, except the Pats from the last 7-8 years. In fact, I used to like the Pats back when they had guys like Grogan, Tatupu, Cedric Jones (who I met in person lol...my dad coached his brother Walter in high school), etc.

Lakers blew it and have cost me a ton of money last 4 games beginning with that meaningless "3" against the Spurs.

I haven't bashed the Celts the whole series, just the refs. Game 2 was a joke, as was Game 3 for the Lakers.

I agree Duncan is a better matchup for him. Duncan is DAM GOOD, but he's also soft to an extent.

Its just been so frustrating to see Gasol not be able to catch passes that hit him in the hands/chest and to miss point blank lay-ups.

In this series, Garnett is a huge obstacle on both ends, but he's playing awful on all levels.

:violin:  whats the excuse to hate the Pats this year, afer they win 12 or 13 games??

Its someone else turn.I used to like the Pats to when grogan, mosy, etc. played, only diff. know is there much better, and I stand by them.

Sorry for hijacking thread.

A lot of this has nothing to do with Garnett. Gasol is missing passes thrown straight to his hands. If you breath hard towards his hands the ball falls out. He time and time again refuses to dunk the ball when he should to throw up brick after layup brick. These passes hitting him right on the hands is an absolute joke. I haven't saw hands this weak since Armon Guillian and Jerry Stakehouse played for the Sixers. This is how you shake out great players from good and its in the playoffs when the talent level gets closer. these type of guys do great against shit teams. How he led his team to the Olympic gold is mind boggling until i remembered that team USA had Billups and KId quarterbacking the US. Those two thieves could bring Jordan and Bird down.:mj07:

I really think if Gasol was who everyone thinks he is, Lakers would be on the verge of winning this series.

I feel like I'm watching Greg Ostertag.
